This is heard at the very beginning of the movie, when the McCallisters and their cousins are packing for their holiday to Florida. This is said as one the McCallister children is walking up the stairs, replying to Buzz's (another McCallister child) comment. It was said to anyone around or anyone who was listening to the conversation and the comment was:

'Has anybody seen the sunblock?'
'What's the point of going to Florida if you are going to put on sunblock?'
'I don't care if I age like an old suitcase, I'm getting toasted.'

Fricker, a native of Dublin, Ireland had the small role of the bird woman. One day, Kevin was walking through Central Park and came upon the bird woman. She frightened him so he ran away. One night, he ran away from Marv and Harry and saw the bird woman in Central Park again. He ran and his foot got stuck between two rocks. The bird woman came along and freed him and Kevin then realized she was not out to hurt him. They started to bond and decided to go spend time at Carnegie Hall. When Marv and Harry held Kevin at gunpoint, the bird woman was there to rescue him. At the end of the movie, Kevin gave the bird woman a turtle dove ornament that he got from Mr. Duncan and he told her that it was a symbol of friendship. Kevin hugged the bird woman. Fricker starred in the films, "A Time to Kill", "So I Married An Axe Murderer" and "Angels in the Outfield". In 1990, she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the film, "My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown". Other Oscar nominees for Best Supporting Actress that year were Anjelica Huston for "Enemies: A Love Story", Lena Olin for "Enemies: A Love Story", Dianne West for "Parenthood" and Julia Roberts for "Steel Magnolias".

Kevin checks into The Plaza Hotel using his dad's credit card. He asks for a suite, and gets one with about six rooms and it is all for himself! Kevin knows this is the number as earlier in the movie, as he is watching television with his TalkBoy (type of voice recorder) by his side, the Plaza Hotel advert comes on and for fun, Kevin decides to record it, not knowing he may use the number featured in the advert later on.

His brothers were making his ears glow, it was hilarious. After this incident, Kevin's brother Buzz apologized for his actions, but Kevin refused to apologize because he felt that he hadn't done anything wrong.

The rest of the McCallisters have arrived in rainy Florida and you see them looking unimpressed.
