When Katniss hears the cannon that shoots whenever a tribute has fallen, she sets off to find out if Peeta is alright. She sees the berries lying on top of his jacket and gets even more terrified. Thankfully, Peeta is still alive and as it turned out, Foxface, the girl from District 5, has eaten some of them, which claims her life.

An announcement had been made that there were supplies that would help the tributes, which could be found at the Cornucopia. Clove and Katniss happened to meet each other there. Clove originally had the upper hand, but Thresh pulled Clove off Katniss and bashed her head into the wall of the Cornucopia in revenge for her killing Rue, Thresh's teammate from District 11 (although it was actually another career, Marvel, who actually did the killing). Thresh left, sparing Katniss's life since she helped Rue.

Seneca Crane is the Head Gamemaker for the 74th Hunger Games. He is played by Wes Bentley, who has also starred in "American Beauty", "The Tomb" and "The Last Word". At the end of "The Hunger Games" movie, Seneca Crane is locked into a room with nothing but a bowl of Nightlock.

Although there has been a slight rule change earlier in the game saying that there could be two winners as long as they both come from the same district, it suddenly gets revoked and they are forced to fight each other until one remains. Instead, they split the dreaded berries between themselves and attempt to commit suicide, in an effort to defy the system. They are then stopped and officially proclaimed the winners.

Answer: Careers were usually of a young age.

Haymitch explained that a career came from either District 1 or 2. They trained at an academy, usually until they were 18. Then, they volunteered themselves as tributes. Thanks to the training they had, most victors were careers; however, there were some exceptions. However, one problem most careers had was that they were arrogant. It was this problem that usually ended up causing a career to die. Despite all of this, they did not receive any special treatment during the Hunger Games.
