Answer: Nancy Huff

Nancy Huff is a divorcee who marries Dr. Robert Doback and becomes step mother to his son, Dale. Nancy Huff is played by Mary Steenburgen. Steenburgen and Ferrell also starred together in "Elf" (2003).

Brennan to his mother: "I'm watching the thing... with the lady."

Denise Austin is a well known fitness and exercise expert and looks pretty good for being 51 years old. Denise has been a member of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Her exercise shows are filled with different exercises, such as yoga, pilates, cross training and aerobic exercise.

Before he leaves for work, Robert stops into Dale's room to tell him that he left him money for pizza, and tells him not to order pay per view. Dale is upset when he finds out that the amount of money he has is not enough to afford both pizza and wings. This is the first time we see Dale get very upset about something silly, but it certainly is not the last.

This is where we see the new family together for the very first time. We see that Brennan will be living with Robert and Nancy because he has been laid off from his job at Pet Smart. Both Brennan and Dale do not approve of their parents' marriage.

This scene shows how childish the boys really are. As they talk about the fancy sauce, Brennan is filling his plate up with fancy sauce so the Dale and Robert will have none. When Dale finally gets the sauce, he smells it and immediately refuses. Robert is about to get his fancy sauce when Brennan intercepts it with his hand, denying him fancy sauce. It's probably not good on fish anyways.

Here we see that Derek and his children are accomplished singers and Derek and his family are much better off than his big brother Brennan. We also see how Derek treats his wife Alice, forcing her to turn to another man.

Derek to Alice: "Flat... flat... you don't even look good"

Derek to everyone at the dinner table after Dale interrupts the conversation: "Hey guys, don't blame Dale for ruining the story, possibly the whole evening"

Brennan states that he is a great singer, at the first dinner he shares with his new step-brother and step-father. Nancy continues to say that Brennan doesn't sing in front of people often. Later, Nancy tells Robert that Brennan's shyness is due to a terrible experience on stage when his brother sabotaged his act during a talent show.

In this scene we learn that both Dale and Brennan have a tendency to sleep walk. They walk around the house and eventually make their way downstairs. They begin to grind up coffee, throw cups through glass doors and ransack the refrigerator.

Robert tells Nancy that her purse is in the refrigerator, and Nancy tells him that Brennan sleep walks, Robert proceeds to tell Nancy that Dale also sleep walks and puts pillows in the oven.

The sleepwalking scenes had to be extremely hard to film because they were just so funny.

The real reason for Brennan being so sweaty is because he was playing Dale's drums. Dale doesn't like that his drum set is even touched, and accuses Brennan of touching them. This eventually leads to a savage fight between the two, that results in them knocking each other out simultaneously.

In this scene we see Brennan and Dale after they have an all out brawl in the front yard. Nancy and Robert are both called away from their jobs to try and stop the fighting. What stops the fight is a baseball bat and a golf club to the head.

Shark Week is a week long program on the Discovery Channel and has been aired every year since 1987. Shark Week in 2008 ran from July 27th-August 2nd and was hosted by Les Stroud.

Andrea Bocelli is an Italian Opera Tenor who was born in Tuscany, Italy. Bocelli was diagnosed with Glaucoma at a very young age and lost his vision completely at the age of 12 after an accident while playing soccer.

Brennan is forced to begin singing after the Billy Joel '80s Cover Band is kicked off the stage for yelling at fans for making requests.

Dale, Robert and Brennan begin to discuss the possibility of reuniting Prestige Worldwide, which is Brennan and Dale's band. Robert gives a moving speech about his father telling him he can't be a dinosaur and the boys use this as motivation. Dale begins playing, but Brennan comes to Dale's rescue and sings beautifully, thus saving the Catalina Wine Mixer.

Robert to Dale and Brennan trying to motivate the boys: "When I was a kid, when I was a little boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur, I wanted to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than anything in the world, I made my arms short and I roamed the back yard, I chased the neighborhood cats, I growled and I roared, everybody knew me and was afraid of me, and one day my dad said 'Bobby you are 17, it's time to throw childish things aside' and I said 'OK Pop', but he didn't really say that he said that 'Stop being a dinosaur and get a job.'"

Randy Jackson is one of the three judges on a popular singing show, along with Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. Ryan Seacrest is the host of "American Idol".

We can assume that Brennan is just messing up Robert's name on purpose because earlier in the movie while Brennan talks to his mother, he calls him Robert. Later in the movie at his job interview, he calls the human resources woman Pan, even though her name is Pam.

We see that Brennan has a very difficult time dealing with people he has not grown attached too. He tries to hug Robert and shake his hand, but it leads to an awkward exit.

Brennan to Dale after questioning his musical talents: "I have been called the songbird of my generation, by people who have heard me... that good!"
