Answer: Zack

His name is Zachary "Sack" Lodge. Mr Cleary calls him Zack when introducing him to the Jeremy and John. Zack is a jerk who treats Claire badly, which is why she falls for John.

When John meets Chaz at his mother's house, Chaz explains the fundamentals of crashing funerals to him. Chaz has recently changed to crashing funerals due to the extremely powerful grief factor. John feels very uncomfortable at the sound of this but still accompanies Chaz to a funeral to check it out.

Chazz (Will Ferrell) is an obnoxious guy who is 40, and still lives with his mom. John goes to him for advice after he and Jeremy have a big fight. It is then that we discover the only thing sleazier than wedding crashing - funeral crashing! When John goes to see him, Chazz is sending out a widow he has just bedded.

Will Ferrell plays the mentor Chaz in a couple of brief scenes. He is a forty year old man who lives at home with his mom. His character made up the rules they live by.

While making balloon animals to impress Gloria Cleary at the wedding reception, Jeremy is bullied into making a bicycle balloon for a snotty, bratty child.

Towards the end of the movie, before their real identities are revealed, John is crushed when he hears Sack tell everyone that he and Claire are engaged. Even after the big fight, Jeremy and Gloria still see each other. They wind up getting married, and at their wedding, Claire dumps Sack.

John gets very depressed after he fails to win back Claire and he finds out that Jeremy has been seeing Gloria behind his back. When Jeremy comes to cheer him up, John is happy to forgive him, until Jeremy tells him that he and Gloria are getting married. John kicks him out because he cannot believe he would be so insensitive. For some reason (unknown to even him apparently), he also calls him a hillbilly.

During the touch football game, Flip utters this in a feeble attempt to pysch out Jeremy who just stands there watching him in disbelief. The reason Jeremy is playing is because John asks him to go to their house for the weekend to accompany him. After the touch game is over, Jeremy has been laid down twice on his back by Sack, and had to be escorted in the house by Gloria.

John meets him after having the huge fight with Jeremy. Chaz still lives with his mother. As Chaz and John are talking, an attractive girl comes downstairs and says she has to go. Chaz tells her to be strong and she leaves. John is stunned that Chaz still gets girls, but then is rather shocked when Chaz says that he gets them from funerals.
