Answer: His (Jesus) blood
It says in Colossians 1:14, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins."
The word redemption means to be freed at a price. The idea comes from slavery in which, for a slave to be free, someone would have to buy the slave's freedom.

From Quiz: Paul's Letter to the Colossians
Answer: Christ was in the believers and was their hope of glory
"I [Paul] have become its [the gospel] servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness-the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:25-27)
One of the most difficult obstacles Paul encountered in proclaiming the gospel was the belief that salvation was only for Jews and those who would follow Jewish laws. Paul's teaching was that it was always God's intention that salvation would be for all mankind, Gentiles included, through faith in Christ.
From Quiz: BBB Bible Series: Colossians
Answer: all things that have ever been created
In Colossians 1:15, we see Christ presented as being the "image of the invisible God." This is saying that he was created in the image of God, like man was, but also that He is the EXPRESS image of God's personage. He is not a created being, but as He is the Creator, Christians believe He is over ALL things. John 1:3 states that all things were created by Him. In this passage in Colossians, verse 16, Paul refers to various types of angelic beings; namely, thrones, dominions, principalities and powers, and he strives to impress his readers that Christ created them ALL to serve HIS purposes.

From Quiz: Colossians
Answer: Both that the Good News is for the Gentiles, and also that Christ lives in you.
"This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to his own holy people. For it has pleased God to tell his people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in his glory." 1:26-27
From Quiz: Paul's Letter to the Colossians
Answer: through Christ's church
Christians believe that Christ redeemed everything from the curse of sin. They also believe that only man, above all the rest of creation, must choose whether to be eternally redeemed or eternally damned. The gospel is preached to every creature, for the gospel excludes none except those who reject it.
In verse 26, Paul says that the gospel, (good news), was long-hidden, but has now been revealed to Jew and Gentile alike through Jesus Christ. He writes that the mystery had been hidden from generations and ages throughout the time of the Old Testament, but now, through the church, has been revealed to all.

Answer: filthy communication
It says in Colossians 3:8, "But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth."
Filthy communications refers to bad words as well as to using words to harm others.
From Quiz: Colossians
Answer: That they may be filled with the knowledge of God's will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding
"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding." (Colossians 1 v. 9)
Nobody knows the precise nature of the false teaching that Paul opposes in Colossians, but this may well have been an integration of Jewish ideas with Greek philosophy that saw maturity in terms of the accumulation of esoteric knowledge. If this is true, then it is noticeable that Paul speaks in terms of knowledge and wisdom that comes from the infilling of God rather than human effort.
From Quiz: Quizzing the New Testament: Colossians
Answer: Laodicea
"I want you to know how much I have agonized for you and for the church at Laodicea, and for many other friends who have never known me personally. My goal is that they will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have full confidence because they have complete understanding of God's secret plan, which is Christ himself." 2:1-2
