17. "You've Dug Your Own Grave, Now Lie In It."- After running from psycho Carrie, who saved Haley and Jamie?
From Quiz It's Season Six in Tree Hill- Pt. 1
Answer:
Deb and Dan
Haley received a fake phone call (from Carrie) that stated Dan was dying in a hospice. So, she called Nathan and left him a voice mail to that affect. Then she took Jamie out to the address Carrie gave her so he could say goodbye. When she pulled up to the home, she became suspicious of the location and had Jamie stay inside the locked car while she investigated. Inside the home she found Dan tied down to his bed. He was drugged, but tried to warn Haley. Carrie hit her on the back of the head and then tried to get Jamie to unlock the car. Later, Haley and Jamie ran into a field of corn trying to escape the pursuing crazy nanny Carrie. Jamie went in first, then Carrie, and lastly Haley hid and waited until she could scoop up her son. On their way back toward the house, Deb hid behind Haley's car and smashed Carrie in the face full force as she ran up. Deb had recognized Carrie from a photo she found in the house after Haley had left. Carrie had earlier sat beside Deb in the park and talked to her a short time. The impact was brutal, but did not kill Carrie. So, Carrie tried to come after Haley and Deb one last time, in true horror movie fashion of "they never die", and Dan shot her from the front porch with her own gun. Apparently that didn't kill her either, as he was still dealing with her ridiculous ravings later that evening.
Also in the episode, Nathan went to try out for a professional basketball team, only to find out that they wanted him to be a coach. Peyton tried to connect more with Mick Wolf, who seemed to be her biological father. Luke went to New York to finalize the details of his book release, and at the same time tell Lindsey he and Peyton would be married soon.
Torrey DeVitto did an amazing job portraying the ever twisted nanny Carrie, and John Doe played Mick Wolf.
