The first time Kurt Angle tried his finisher, Eddie Guerrero countered it into an arm drag. The next time Kurt Angle tried his finisher, Eddie Guerrero countered the finisher into a DDT. Eddie Guerrero was savvy enough not to get pinned after Kurt Angle attempted his finisher.

Kurt Angle was left holding Eddie Guerrero's boot. Kurt Angle was confused. Thus, Eddie Guerrero rolled him up in a small package to retain his title. Leave it to Eddie Guerrero to find a way to win.

Chris Benoit won a Triple Threat Match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H attempted a "Pedigree", but Benoit countered it into the "Crossface" submission hold. Triple H flat out refused to give up and even tried to counter the move. Benoit held onto the submission hold until Triple H had no choice but to tap out.

Benoit was presented with the championship belt after his victory and looked down at it with tears in his eyes. Eddie Guerrero came out to celebrate with him and they hugged and cried together.
