In the first episode, "Ginger the Juvey", Blake steals Carl's petrified eyeball, his most prized possession in his large collection of oddities. In "Sleep On It" Carl and Hoodsey team up to steal it back when Hoodsey is invited for a sleepover at Blake's house. Hoodsey wears a camera and earpiece so that Carl can see and communicate with him from afar.

Courtney finds out at lunch that the "mystery meat" at school that day is lobster and she has an allergic reaction. Courtney's face swells up and she has to miss school for 4 days. This is why she hires Ginger to pretend to be her, since a cute senator's son is coming to Lucky Jr. High and Courtney was supposed to be his "tour guide".

The name of the movie is "Harley James: Vampire Thrasher", and it's supposed to be an action/horror movie. Darren's older brother Will is working at the theater and gets them tickets to see it. Since Dodie and Macie don't join them, they give the two extra tickets to Miranda and Ian.

Answer: Glockenspiel

Carl, Hoodsey, and Brandon all compete for a solo to play the glockenspiel for the town eccentric, Ludlow Krantz. He actually went to Lucky Elementary when he was young and played the glockenspiel as well. All three boys say he is their idol. Although Brandon ends up winning the solo, Carl and Hoodsey crash his performance and they end up getting to hang out with Mr. Krantz instead.

Answer: Lexi

The girls crash Lexi's party, where Ginger runs into Jake under the snack table. They find out about it from Ginger's dentist appointment; while waiting, she overhears Jake and another boy discussing the big party Lexi is throwing. Since Ginger is trying to get rid of her "good girl" image, she suggests to Dodie and Macie that they crash it.

Answer: The Duchess

We see Milty's dog The Duchess in the "Summer of Camp Caprice", when Carl and Hoodsey are trying to catch the neighborhood dog thief, and in "Nurse's Strike", where they offer to give her some training. Several times Hoodsey has to correct Carl to use the "The" in front, because he keeps only calling her "Duchess".

A news woman is live at the scene and she is heard saying the mold has been named the "F-13 mold" by experts. We can assume this is because this episode takes place on Friday the 13th, hence the title of the episode "TGIF". Carl is excited about the mold since he was hoping for some bad luck on his "favorite holiday".

Answer: Clover

After their quick summer fling at Camp Caprice, Ginger is trying to reach out to Sasha but isn't hearing back from him. She then joins the school band so she can go on the band trip to Sasha's school, Heathered Hills, which is two hours away. After arriving, she discovers Sasha has a girlfriend named Clover, who is introduced for the first time in this episode. Clover is referenced again later in the episode "Heat Lightning".

Answer: Telescope

Carl and Hoodsey discover Blake had a brand new high powered telescope delivered to his front porch. They visit him in the hospital while he's getting his tonsils out and ask to borrow it, which Blake refuses. Hoodsey points out the "new toy code" to Carl; it says they can't play with another's toy until the owner has had a chance to play with it first.

Instead, they steal Blake's tonsils while at the hospital.
