1. Ireland's national colour

While people usually associate green with Ireland, the national colour is actually blue, coming from St. Patrick's Blue. While it doesn't appear on the national flag, blue is found in other places, like on the Presidential standard and the carpets in Ireland's Parliament, Dáil Éireann.
