A more accurate description would be chaotic and non-chaotic demons. 'Chaotic' demons or cacodemons are almost exclusively the kind who come into contact with the rest of us."

As an Exustio demon, Adam can produce first, second and third degree burns and he can incinerate nearly anything. When we first met Adam, he had little control and almost no power. When he obtained the level of power and control, he could easily incinerated both people and steel.

A Ferratus demon is one of the more unusual types of demons. Griffin makes a good bodyguard because of his ability to deflect bullets because his skin became iron-solid.

Both Robert Vasic and Troy Morgan are Tempestras half-demons, which are storm demons. While they can't control the weather (such as by summoning storms), they can alter it in their immediate area. They could call winds, lightning, or, as Paige realized in "Industrial Magic", keep the rain off the windshield.

As we saw in "Stolen", Xavier used his powers for evil, namely helping the bad guy capture several people, including Paige Winterbourne, Savannah and Eve Levine and Aaron the vampire. A Evanidus half-demon can only teleport within site, and has a range of roughly 10 feet. It's second in the ranking of teleportation demons, with Abeo being the highest and Tripudio being the lowest.

Leah is half-Volo demon, which is the most powerful of the telekinetic demons. In "Industrial Magic," Leah used her telekinetic powers to make Savannah believe she (Savannah) was manipulating objects herself. A Volo half-demon can move anything without lifting a finger, and has a range of around 50 yards.

A Volo half-demon can also move objects that are out of sight as long as they can clearly picture the object.

And an Agito does not outrank an Evanidus. They're both mid-level half-demons." So, while Leah does outrank Xavier, she doesn't outrank Adam, because there is only one Exustio demon. Griffin's sire is also rare, but there are so few of them that they don't fall into the hierarchy.
