Question 2 of 10
2. I'm about to make my way across the parking lot to say hi when I spot my older brother, Chris, walking to her. He kisses her on the cheek and takes her hand. I can't believe it! I told him how I felt. How could he do this to me? What would Caesar say? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. I'm furious. My brother, the one in whom I have confided for all these years has betrayed me. Well, there's only one way to deal with this: revenge. I have to get even with him. I'll have to pretend I don't know, of course, and strike when he least expects it. What would Iago say? Hint

Question 4 of 10

Question 5 of 10
5. So Chris is guilty. I should ruin his life the way he ruined mine. But I can't. He's my brother. Maybe I should talk to him and confront him. No! I'll follow through with my plan. I shouldn't think so much, just act. What would Hamlet say? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. I still don't have a solid plan. I have to keep thinking. Maybe if I ask one of my friends, we can hatch a plan together. What would the witches of "Macbeth" say? Hint

Question 7 of 10

Question 8 of 10
8. I ask around for my brother's best friend, but to no avail. I figured he was the best candidate to have cheated with Rachel, so that I could ruin Chris' life as much as possible. I spot Rachel over in a corner of the cafeteria, without Chris. She seems to be arguing with a few of her friends. I sneak over as discreetly as possible. She's trying to convince them that she isn't dating my brother, but they don't seem to believe her. What would Hamlet's mother say about her? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. When I get home that night, I decide to talk to my brother. I realized that although he betrayed me, he is still my brother, and I should not let something like this come between us. As I step into the door, I hear shouting. My dad has found out that my brother is dating my crush, who is also the daughter of one of his rivals at work. My brother says that it should not matter who her father is because he is in love with her. What would Juliet say in his position? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. I am in shock. I had no idea that my brother felt so strongly about her. After all, all I had was a crush and I hadn't done anything about it. Later that night, I hear them on the front porch. He explains to her the situation and she replies that it is the same at her home. They decide to continue to see each other. What would Juliet say before leaving? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Ahh! It's Friday and school's over. I head to the mall with my best friend and immediately spot my crush, Rachel. She's the most popular girl in school and the captain of the cheerleader's squad. What would Romeo say about her?

Answer: "See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand! O that I were a glove upon that hand, that I might touch that cheek!"

Romeo says this line in "Romeo and Juliet" during the balcony scene. They are from families that hate one another, yet their love finds a way to overcome that obstacle.
2. I'm about to make my way across the parking lot to say hi when I spot my older brother, Chris, walking to her. He kisses her on the cheek and takes her hand. I can't believe it! I told him how I felt. How could he do this to me? What would Caesar say?

Answer: "Et tu, Brute!"

This famous line from "Julius Caesar" is said by Caesar after his best friend, Brutus, stabs him. He feels betrayed, but does not have too much time to dwell upon this fact as he dies minutes later.
3. I'm furious. My brother, the one in whom I have confided for all these years has betrayed me. Well, there's only one way to deal with this: revenge. I have to get even with him. I'll have to pretend I don't know, of course, and strike when he least expects it. What would Iago say?

Answer: "I will wear my heart upon my sleeve/For daws to peck at: I am not what I am."

Iago says this quote in the first act of "Othello" after he decides to ruin Othello's life because he made Cassio his lieutenant and not Iago. He is perhaps one of the most evil characters Shakespeare created.
4. Before I act, I want to make sure what I am doing is right. He is my brother, after all. I want to catch him in the act, or better yet, make him squirm as I take him to that new movie where a man steals his brother's girlfriend. What would Hamlet say?

Answer: "The play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king."

This quote from "Hamlet" is said by Hamlet after his father's ghost told him that his uncle Claudius, murdered him. Before Hamlet kills Claudius, he wants to make sure the ghost was telling the truth. He therefore brings a play to the castle that is identical to the murder and scheming of Claudius.
5. So Chris is guilty. I should ruin his life the way he ruined mine. But I can't. He's my brother. Maybe I should talk to him and confront him. No! I'll follow through with my plan. I shouldn't think so much, just act. What would Hamlet say?

Answer: "To be, or not to be: that is the question"

This is perhaps the most famous lines of any of Shakespeare's plays. It is said in "Hamlet" and in fact, many people recognize the quote but do not realize that it is from Shakespeare. Hamlet says this as the first line of his famous soliloquy when he is deliberating whether or not to kill himself.
6. I still don't have a solid plan. I have to keep thinking. Maybe if I ask one of my friends, we can hatch a plan together. What would the witches of "Macbeth" say?

Answer: "Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble."

The witches say this in "Macbeth" right before they tell Macbeth that he will be killed by a man who was not born to a woman. Macbeth becomes happy at hearing this, as he thinks that every person alive had to have been born to a woman. In fact, Macduff, the man who kills him, was torn from his mother's womb (a Caesarian section, not a natural delivery), so was able to fulfil the prophecy.
7. I think I have a good idea. I want to show Chris that Rachel has cheated on him somehow. Yes, that sounds like a good plan. I know my brother will believe what I tell him because he trusts me. Finally, I can take my revenge. What would Iago say?

Answer: "The Moor is of a free and open nature/ That thinks men honest that but seem to be so."

This quote from "Othello" is said by Iago after he hatches a plan to prove to Othello that his wife, Desdemona, has had an improper relationship with Othello's right-hand man, Cassio. In reality, Cassio is as honorable and valiant as can be.

Answer: "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

This is said by Queen Gertrude in "Hamlet" during the play which Hamlet brings to the castle to "catch the conscience of the king." Hamlet puts on an antic disposition and makes all kinds of vulgar comments to his love-interest, Ophelia.

Answer: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet".

Juliet says this in "Romeo and Juliet" when she wants Romeo to "deny [his] father and refuse [his] name" and says she will also stop being a Capulet. Romeo is visiting her under her balcony after her father's party.

Answer: "Good Night, Good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow."

This is also one of Shakespeare's most famous lines. Juliet says this in "Romeo and Juliet" when Romeo leaves from underneath her balcony. Romeo went to visit her after Juliet's father's party, which he and his friends crashed.
