The manga does not say much about Jaken's life before Sesshomaru, but the anime does. Jaken is being attacked by another demon when Sesshomaru comes along. The demon won't move when Sesshomaru tells it to, and he kills it. Jaken is a toad demon.

The Shikon Jewel, or Jewel of Four Souls, was once guarded by Kikyo, but is burned and buried with her after her passing. It resurfaces thousands of years later inside the body of Kagome, Kikyo's reincarnation. It has the power to grant a wish of any creature (Human, demon, half demon). Many demons are looking for the shards. Kagome has the ability to detect Jewel Shards with them.

Answer: "Sit!"

The beaded necklace around InuYasha's neck responds to "sit" and causes him to fall to the ground. It was placed there by Kaede, but Kagome is the one who controls him. Only Kagome can do so, evidence of this occurring when Sango says "sit" to InuYasha and nothing happens.

Sango's village of Demon Slayers is called upon to kill a large demon at a Lord's house. It turns out that the person who summons them is Naraku. He takes control of Kohaku and uses him to kill the other Demon Slayers, even his father, and injure Sango. For quite some time, Sango believes that he is deceased as well, but he is alive and under Naraku's spell.

Kaede takes Kikyo's place as Village Priestess after her sister is killed. She is a friend to Kagome and her friends, and they often return to the village to rest. Kaede is missing one eye.

Koga has a crush on Kagome and fights with InuYasha often, mostly over her. He travels with a few wolves and wolf demons. His main sidekicks are Hakkaku and Ginta. Koga has a jewel shard in both of his legs and one in his arm.

Jakotsu is a member of the Band of Seven, not an incarnation of Naraku. Kagura appears first, then Kanna, and then Hakudoshi. Naraku has nine incarnations all together.

Myoga is a small flea demon that InuYasha's father orders to protect the location of his grave. He often runs away at the first sight of danger, however. Myoga loves drinking demon blood, including InuYasha's.

Miroku is always flirting with women, asking them to bear his children. He says it is because he knows the wind tunnel will consume him one day, and he wants to have an heir to carry on his heritage. Sango is annoyed the most out of this, because of her feelings for him. In the end, they are married.

Answer: Kageromaru

Kageromaru is one of Naraku's incarnations. The members of the Band of Seven are Bankotsu, Jakotsu, Renkotsu, Kyokotsu, Mukotsu, Suikotsu, and Ginkotsu. They are mercenaries who are brought back from the dead by Naraku with Shikon Jewel shards.

Answer: No

Kikyo was going to give InuYasha the Shikon Jewel so he could become a full-blooded human. While she was going to meet him, she was attacked by Naraku, disguised as InuYasha. He claimed that he was just using her to get the jewel and didn't want to become a human. Around the same time, Inuyasha was attacked by Kikyo. Once again, this was Naraku in disguise. Kikyo's death and InuYasha's imprisonment resulted from the incidents.
