There is know hope of escaping, seeing as there are guards everywhere, until Cadvan comes along and creates a spell which turns Maerad invisible, allowing her to escape unnoticed Innail and Norloch are both well known Bard schools.

While resting here, they were attacked by creatures called Wers which is where Maerad proved her strength and determination which leads to their discovery of her being a Bard. The Landrost was not really an actual mountain it was a type of dangerous mythical creature who watches over the two travelers. Lirigon is another Bard School. Edinor is a town and I made up Shail Mt.

The Lily was the sign on the brooch Maerad wood wear on her clothes to represent her School.

Passed down from her mother when she died, this object was an ancient harp. It was the one thing that relaxed Maerad. Her gift along with all the other Bards, was the gift of music. This is the one thing she cares about because after her mothers death as a slave at Gilman's cot, Maerad had nothing left but the Lyre.

Cadvan became a very famous Bard from this school, this place has no real importance besides the fact that it is Cadvan's home town.
