Answer: Par, Walker, Wren

Par Ohmsford is a Valeman, and becomes a criminal when he uses magic, which is strictly forbidden by order of the Federation. He is needed by Allanon to obtain the legendary Sword of Shannara. Walker Boh lives at Hearthstone, along with his pet moor cat, Rumor. He is supposed to revive Paranor and bring back the Druids. Wren is a rover, and she must find the missing elves.

2. What does Wren Ohmsford carry around her neck in a small leather pouch?

Answer: rocks painted blue

Wren Ohmsford carries these to remind her of her heritage. They turn out to be more important than she realized.

3. What monster attacks Padishar and Morgan at the Jut?

Answer: a creeper

The creeper is a giant, scorpion-like creature. It is covered in hair, yet also in iron. The only way that the outlaws were able to kill this beast was by shooting it with giant crossbow bolts.

4. How is Damson Rhee related to Padishar Creel?

Answer: daughter

Damson Rhee is a street magician in the city of Tyrsis. Her mother, sister, and brother were killed in a fire, but she and Padishar escaped.

The stranger who saved Par and Coll from Rimmer Dall was none other than Padishar Creel. He gave them a ring and told them that if they ever needed help, to take the ring to Kiltan Forge at Reaver's End and ask for the Archer. This name is nothing more than a password for fellow outlaws.
