Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the first movie we met Mikey, the next sequel we are introduced to his sister, Julie. In the third movie the family adopts two dogs; at the end of the movie anyhow. I know the name of the movie, but I want to know who voices the female dog, Daphne?

Answer: Diane Keaton

"Look Who's Talking Now" was the third in a series for John Travolta and Kristie Alley. In the first film Bruce Willis gave us the run down from a child's point-of-view, as Mikey. In the second film we meet Julie, who was voiced by Roseanne. In the third film, both Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton team up for another great comedy flick. The dogs end up saving the day, and Christmas too.
2. A baby was left on the doorstep of Peter, Michael and Jack's house in the original. In the second film, "3 Men and a Little Lady" Sylvia wants a husband and a father for her child. What is the name of the little lady?

Answer: Mary

I wish that they would create another sequel, with Mary hitting the teenage years with three dads. Can you imagine going on a date with all three men around bugging you? The first movie really came up with some cute liners. I think my favorite line would be when Peter, played by Tom Selleck, offered Michael, who was played by Steve Guttenberg, a thousand dollars for changing the "doodle" in her diaper.
3. In what Ron Howard movie did Don Ameche, Wilford Brimley and Hume Cronyn act about 40 years younger then they actually were?

Answer: Cocoon

The original "Cocoon" was directed by Ron Howard. The sequel, "Cocoon: The Return" was directed by Daniel Petrie. In both of the movies the boys acted like teenagers. Playing volleyball, swimming and just having fun. All I can say is after filming some of these scenes, they must have been worn out! Don Ameche actually won the Oscar for Actor in a Supporting Role.
4. Every year Mitch and the boys do something adventurous; the first year they went to drive cattle in "City Slickers". The next year Ed, who was played by Bruno Kirby, doesn't join Mitch and Phil on a trip to Las Vegas to find Curly's gold. This year, Mitch's brother joins the fun. Who plays the brother, Glenn?

Answer: Jon Lovitz

I think my favorite characters in these two movies were Ira and Barry Shalowitz. They were played by David Paymer and Josh Mostel, respectively. They had such cute little one - liners. I think my favorite line was when they told Curly's brother, Duke, that they helped bury Curly, his brother. Duke responded with "maybe someday I can do the same for you." Both Ira and Barry just sort of looked at each other. Both movies were A plus in my rating books.
5. Anna Chlumsky's best friend was Thomas. Thomas was portrayed by Macaulay Culkin. Thomas and Anna hung out together, talked together and climbed trees together. They were almost like "peas and carrots". Oops, wrong movie, that was "Forrest Gump". Do you know what Thomas died from in the movie "My Girl"?

Answer: He got stung by a bee and he was allergic to bee stings.

In the movie "My Girl" Vada isn't your regular girl. Her dad, portrayed by Dan Aykroyd, owns the funeral parlor. What a place for a girl to grow up. Jamie Lee Curtis marries Dan Aykroyd between the first and second movie. In the second movie, Vada prepares for the assignment of her life - searching for details about her deceased mother. Does she find anything juicy? You'll have to watch the movie and find out. I think my favorite movie with Dan and Jamie would be "Trading Places", with Eddie Murphy also.
6. We have Pink Ladies, we have the T-Birds. "Tell me about it Stud!" What character says this famous line?

Answer: Sandy

The movie "Grease" created so much hoopla in the late 70's. I remember everyone singing "Grease" songs and dancing around like we were in the 50's. I knew the words to every line in the movie... everyone did. It was a classic! What was funny about the movie were the ages. Rizzo was actually 34. Sandy was 29. Didi Conn was even 28 at the time. "But they're going to rule the school..."
7. In the first movie "Romancing the Stone" Joan Wilder met Jack Colton. In the second movie "The Jewel of the Nile" Joan and Jack lived on their yacht. Joan wanted more adventure in her life, she wanted something...more. She was bored with the yacht life. Joan went off to the middle east to write a novel on Omar. Along the way, she met the "Jewel." What does the Jewel call Joan?

Answer: Just Joan

This was such a cute series. I loved both films. Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito are such a great threesome. The only movie that I didn't really enjoy the three of them together was in "The War of the Roses". It just didn't have the comedy that the "Romance" series did. You know what they say, "when the going gets tough..."
8. Robin Williams kept us charmed in Disney's "Aladdin" movie back in 1992 as "The Blue Genie". Again, Robin signed up to voice the Blue Genie in the third movie, "Aladdin and the King of Thieves". But do you know who voiced the Blue Genie in the second movie, "The Return of Jafar"?

Answer: Dan Castellaneta

Dan has voiced such characters as, Homer Simpson in the television show "The Simpson's". He adds "Hey Arnold" to his listing of television shows with his voice of "Grandpa Phi." Most recently Dan voiced "Thing One and Thing Two" in the new "The Cat in the Hat" movie with Mike Myers.
9. The original man with the great toys was Michael Keaton. Michael was followed by Val Kilmer, and then replaced with George Clooney. Do you know who that masked man is, (nope, not the Lone Ranger)?

Answer: Batman

I think I enjoyed the first original movie myself. The film gave us the beginning of "Batman" and how it all started. Jack Nicholson was also a favorite of mine in the film. I really enjoyed his role of "The Joker." As much as I enjoy George Clooney, I just didn't think he played the best "Batman".

Not that he doesn't have the macho image, HE DOES! But something was lacking. Sorry George! But then again, Adam West will always be my favorite! Bam, Pow, Zap and all that!
10. Back in 1977 George Lucas directed one of the greatest trilogies ever. He created three of the greatest characters, Luke, Han and Princess Leia. I know the three good guys, but who was the bad guy?

Answer: Darth Vader

Light speed ahead to 1999, and the beginning "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" was created. Wait a second, #1? I'm confused, what was "Star Wars", the original...four? Now I'm really confused. First we had the original "Star Wars" which was actually IV and then we continued the saga with V and VI. We then leap back to I, followed by II and are waiting patiently for the third addition. Wait, would this be a backwards sequel? A leuqes?

Thanks for playing and I hope you enjoyed the sequel of sequels.
