Will You Do "Whatever It Takes"? Quiz

Answer: Gilmore High School

The students attended a fictional high school called Gilmore High School. The movie was actually filmed at Torrance High School in California. The prom scene, Titanic Dreams, was filmed at Beverly Hills High School because they are one of the only schools that have a swimming pool under the basketball court in the gym.

Answer: "Are you okay?"

Ashley Grant, played by Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, got out of her car and said "Are you okay?" to a boy after he fell off of his skateboard, while staring at her. Ashley Grant is the most popular girl in school and everyone thinks she is beautiful. The boy was speechless when Ashley talked to him.

Answer: He said he was a player.

Chris was on the phone with Maggie when Ryan called. Chris put Maggie on hold and talked to Chris and when he switched back to Maggie it ended up being a three way conversation because Chris forgot to push hold. Ryan used his sound system to sound like Chris' voice. Maggie fell for it while Chris listened on the other line to their conversation. Ryan was saying some stuff about Chris and Chris decided to make a "Reasons to kick Ryan's butt list". On the list he listed, dad's on crack, said I was dumb, and conceited.

Answer: Play That Funky Music

"Play that Funky Music" was sung by Cherry Wild. In the scene Ryan got out of the shower and played the accordion to the song. He put on his boxers and a cowboy hat and began dancing and playing the accordion. He didn't realize that Maggie was staring at him from her window laughing.

Answer: J

Chris said the letter J and Ryan responded and called his friends jerks and jokes. After Ryan used the letter J the other people at the table, where Ashley and Chris were sitting, began mentioning other letters and words that described Ryan's friends.

Answer: Miranda

The waitress' name was mentioned in the conversation. Ashley was eating cake at the restaurant where Miranda worked and after she ate the cake she complained that she hated it and she wanted to talk to the manager. Ryan got all mad at her because of what she did and because she called Miranda a geek. Ryan asked Ashley what made Miranda a geek and she said "A tiger can't change its spots".

After Ashley said that, Ryan dumped her and Ashley was a total mess because she had never been dumped before.

Answer: Blue

When Ashley arrived at prom Miranda asked her to sign her yearbook and Ashley said her autograph would cost $20. The girl then ran away to find her purse to get the money. After that Ryan and Ashley went to go take prom pictures.

Answer: Floyd

Floyd, using the keys, broke into the stage control room and pushed the button in which the basketball court divided revealing the pool that was underneath it. Tons of people fell into the water and it looked just as it did in the movie "Titanic" (1997). Two guys even pretended they were Jack and Kate and rehearsed the drowning scene.

When Floyd was able to make it outside of the school a fire truck pulled up with the number 54 on it. The cops arrived and tried to figure out who was responsible for ruining prom.

Answer: Baseball

Ryan struck out after baseball practice and Floyd asked him how many fingers he was holding up. Ryan was a little out of it and he said eleventy seven, which in fact is not a real number. By the end of the movie Ryan gets really good at baseball and isn't afraid of the ball anymore. As the coach is throwing the balls at him he continues to talk to Floyd on the base.

Answer: Grease

Maggie and Ryan were discussing Chris' quiz scores at the arcade and she was shocked by what his answers were. She said Chris' favorite book was "Nine Stories" by J.D. Salinger which also happens to be her favorite book too. She also said he listed "Stripes" (1981), "Casablanca" (1942), and "Monty Python" (1975) as his favorite movies.
