Answer: Robin Yount

Robin Yount started playing for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1974. He was elected to appear in three All-Star games, won three Silver Slugger awards and was twice voted the American League MVP in 1982 and 1989. His number 19, was retired by the Brewers in 1994.

The other answers were all members of the Milwaukee Brewers. Cecil Cooper, Ben Ogilvie and Paul Molitor all helped in Milwaukee's great 1978 and 1982 seasons.

Answer: Mark "The Bird" Fidrych

Mark "The Bird" Fidrych played for the Detroit Tigers from 1976 until his last game on October 1, 1980. After going 19-9 in his first season, he was awarded with the Rookie of the Year Award. A knee injury in 1977 and a torn rotator cuff forced an early retirement at the age of 29. He died in 2009 after being trapped under a truck that he had been working on, and collapsed.

Answer: The Penguin

Ron Cey played from 1971 until 1987 with three different teams, earning six All-Star selections and the World Series co-MVP award while playing for the Dodgers in 1981. The third basemen was given the nickname "Penguin" by then Minor League manager Tommy Lasorda for his slow waddling running gait.

Answer: Pitcher

Rich "Goose" Gossage started his career playing for the Chicago White Sox in 1972. The powerful right-handed relief pitcher had his glory days while playing for the New York Yankees (1978-1983) and San Diego Padres (1984-1987). Gossage was inducted in to the Hall of Fame in 2008 based on his 310 saves and nine All-Star appearances.

In 1978, he was awarded the American League Rolaids Relief Man of the Year.

Answer: Chicago White Sox

The Hawk played in the Major League from 1963 until 1971 as a first basemen and an outfielder. A broken leg suffered in a sliding incident in spring training helped in his decision to retire, and to try out being a professional golfer. Harrelson came back to baseball with the Boston Red Sox, but this time in the booth announcing the games.

He joined the White Sox again in 1990 where his famous calls of, "He Gone", and, "You can put it on the board, YES!" can be heard to the thrill of Chicago White Sox fans.

Answer: Joe "Ducky" Medwick

Playing left field for several teams, most notably for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1932-1940, and again from to 1947-1948 to finish his career. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1968 after collecting 2471 hits, 10 All-Star games. and a National League MVP award in 1937. He was given the nicknames "Ducky Wucky" and "Ducky" for his waddling style while he walked.

Answer: George "The Stork" Theodore

George "The Stork" Theodore played outfield for the New York Mets for two seasons. He had 42 career hits and 2 home runs while playing alongside Rusty Staub, Willie Mays, and Cleon Jones. Staub was known as "Le Grand Orange" and Mays as the "Say Hey Kid". A Jabiru is a large breed of a stork.

Answer: Phil "The Vulture" Regan

Phil "The Vulture" Regan started his career as a pitcher in the Detroit Tigers organization in 1960. His best year came in 1966 while playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers when he went 14-1 with a 1.62 ERA. Nicknamed the "The Vulture" for his ability to earn wins in relief appearances. Regan finished with a record of 96 wins and 81 losses and 92 saves over his 12-year career in the Majors.

Answer: Tris "The Grey Eagle" Speaker

Tris Speaker was voted in to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937 after a 21-season career with four different teams. In that time, "The Grey Eagle" had a .345 batting average, 3514 hits and was a member of three World Championship teams in 1912, 1915, and 1920. 'Smokey' Joe Wood was also a teammate of Speaker at both Boston and Cleveland. Joe Sewell played with/for Speaker while he was with the Indians. Ray Chapman also played in Cleveland and is more known for dying at the result of a pitch to the head in 1920.

Answer: Frank "Crane" Reberger

Frank "Crane" Reberger pitched in the Major Leagues from 1968 until 1972, finishing with a record of 14-15 and 258 strikeouts. After starting with the Cubs, he was selected in the expansion draft by the San Diego Padres. Tony Gwynn was also a player with the Padres but from 1982 to 2001. Willie McCovey played for the Padres and Giants like Reberger did. McCovey's career lasted a bit longer from 1959 until 1980. Rick Monday came to the Cubs four years after Reberger had moved on. Monday is more noted for his playing days with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and saving an American flag from being attempted to be set on fire in 1976.
