Answer: Home Park

Home Park was the home ground of Plymouth Argyle, from the county of Devon. First opened in 1901, the stadium has been modified many times since. After the redevelopment in 2019 it had an all-seated capacity of 17,000.

The other three stadiums listed are all in London; The Valley is home to Charlton Athletic, The Den is the home ground of Millwall F.C., and Craven Cottage is home to Fulham F.C.

Answer: Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid were founded in 1903 and have had to live in the shadow of local rivals Real Madrid for much of the ensuing years. The club had a number of home grounds before the Vicente Calderon was opened in 1966. In 2017, they moved into the Metropolitano Stadium which had originally been constructed for a (failed) bid to host the Olympics.

The new ground had a capacity of 70,000 in the early 2020s and was chosen to host the 2019 UEFA Champions League final.

The Estadio Centenario is located in Uruguay's capital city, Montevideo. It was built specifically for the 1930 FIFA World Cup, took only nine months to complete, and its honoursr the centenary of the ratification of Uruguay's first constitution (adopted in July 1830).

The stadium hosted ten matches at the 1930 World Cup, including both semi-finals and the final, which was won by the host nation. After renovation in 2021, the stadium had a capacity of just over 60,000. As well as the national team, the stadium also plays host to bigger matches involving the country's leading two clubs, Penarol and Nacional.

Answer: Johannesburg

First National Bank (FNB) Stadium is located in the Johannesburg suburb of Nasrec. It was the venue of the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, at which time it was referred to as Soccer City due to FIFA rules on corporate names of stadiums. It opened in 1989.

The upgrade for the 2010 World Cup gave the stadium a capacity of juts under 95,000. The stadium is used for home games by leading club side Kaizer Chiefs as well as the South African national team.

Answer: Cologne

Located in Cologne, Germany, Mungersdorfer Stadion is the home ground of the football team Cologne (locally known as 1.FC Koln). The stadium, which has a seating capacity of over 50,000, has undergone several renovations and name changes throughout its history.

It was originally built in 1923 and was known as the Müngersdorfer Sportplatz. In 1975, it was renamed the Rheinstadion, and then in 2004, it was renamed the RheinEnergieStadion due to a sponsorship deal with the energy company RheinEnergie AG.

Answer: Boca Juniors

Boca Juniors play their home games at La Bombonera, which translates to "The Chocolate Box" in English. The stadium's unique shape and colorful exterior resemble a box of chocolates, hence the nickname. La Bombonera has a seating capacity of just over 49,000 and is known for its intense atmosphere during matches. Boca Juniors are one of the most successful clubs in Argentina, with numerous league titles to their name, and six triumphs in the Copa Libertadores between 1977 and 2007.

Stadium 974 was a 44,089 capacity stadium in Doha built specifically for use at the 2022 World Cup. It was constructed from 974 recycled shipping containers, with the number reflecting Qatar's international telephone dialing code. The stadium hosted seven matches during the tournament, including the second round match between Brazil and South Korea.

Answer: Cliftonville

Cliftonville F.C. is the oldest surviving football team in Ireland, having been founded in Belfast in 1879. They have been based at the Solitude ground since 1890. The club have traditionally been followed by members of the nationalist community of Belfast. After the 2008 renovations, Solitude had a nominal capacity of 6,224, but safety regulations capped the capacity allowed at 2,530.

Salt Lake Stadium, known locally as Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, is located in Kolkata, India. It is home to a number of local club teams, including East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. After the renovations of 2015/16 its capacity was reduced to 85,000.

The all-time record attendance is 131,781 (Indian Federation Cup semi-final in July 1997). The stadium has hosted numerous international football matches, including the final of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup. In addition to football, the stadium has also hosted concerts by renowned artists such as U2 and Lionel Richie.

The stadium's unique design features a partial roof covering the stands, which helps to create an electric atmosphere during matches.

Answer: Napoli

Stadio Diego Armando Maradona was opened in 1959, and was called the Stadio San Paolo until 2020. Following the death of legendary former player Diego Maradona in November 2020, the stadium was renamed in his honour. The stadium hosted five matches at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, including one of the semi-finals in which, somewhat ironically, Maradona's Argentina defeated the host nation.

After renovations in 2019, the stadium had a capacity of 54,726.
