Answer: Old Trafford

Manchester United's first game of the season was against Fulham who had just been promoted to the Premiership. They managed to score against Manchester United in just four minutes and by halftime they were leading 2-1. During the second half, Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored twice and the Reds won 3-2.

The scorer for Fulham was Louis Saha with a double, and who was later a Manchester United player.
2. Who scored an own goal during the second match of the season, when Manchester United played Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on the 22nd August 2001?

Answer: David Beckham

All the goals scored at the match were actually scored by Manchester United's famous youth team of 1992, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham for the Reds, and Keith Gillespie and David Beckham for Blackburn Rovers. The final score was 2-2.
