The diameter is 7.62 cm or 3". The puck must be 2.54cm (1") thick and its weight must be 156 to 170gms (5.5 to 6oz). Any logo or advertising material on the puck cannot be larger than 4.5cm (1.77 in). Both sides of the puck may have material printed on them however. I'm not sure how you're supposed to see the printing on the puck as it's hurtling around the rink but rules are rules!

The goalmouth is 8 yards (7.32m) wide and the height is fixed at 8 ft (2.44m) to the lower edge of the crossbar. The goal posts, crossbar and lines on the field must be the same dimension which cannot exceed 5 inches (12 cm). The net behind the goal is optional but if fitted it must not interfere with the goalkeeper's work.

The bullseye must be 130cm (51.2in) from the ground. Different size targets are used for different competitions. The target is 122cm (48in) in diameter for the 60m, 70m and 90m men's competitions. An 80cm (31.5in) target is used for 30m, 40m and 50m men's competitions (with one exception, the Standard Bow round).

In a 3,000m steeplechase there are 28 hurdle jumps. If that's not difficult enough there are 7 water jumps to overcome to reach the finish line. A 2,000m race sounds easier as there are only 18 hurdle jumps and 5 water jumps.

The rules specify the court must be rectangular and 78 feet (23.8m) long. For singles matches the court is 27 feet (8.23m) wide. For doubles matches the area in the "tramlines" is included which then makes the court 36 feet (10.97 m) wide.

From one square boundary to the other must be at least 150 yards (137.2m). A cricket oval can be almost round to quite oval in shape. The Sydney Cricket Ground is fairly circular but The Adelaide Oval is just that - very oval in comparison. The pitch isn't necessarily in the exact middle of the ground so the distance from the centre of the pitch to the boundaries can be different.

The shorter of the two boundaries cannot be shorter than 65 yards (59.9m) though. The distance from the pitch to the boundary at ends of the pitch must be at least 70 yards (64 metres). The oche should be 38 mm high and 610 mm long. The rear end of it must be 2.37 metres (7'9") from the dartboard. Players may not tread on the oche. The centre of the dartboard must be 173 cm (5'8") from the floor and the rear of the oche (measured diagonally) shall be 294 cm (9' 7.5") from the centre of the board. That's more information than I needed to know!

A full size polo field is 300 yards (274m) long and either 160 or 200 yards (146 or 183m) wide. The width is determined by whether or not the field is boarded on the edges (presumably for spectator safety); the wider dimension is used when the field is boarded. The goals are 8 yards (7.3m) wide and the goalposts must be at least 10 feet (3m) high. The goalposts must be at least 250m (229m) apart.

Curling stone must be anywhere between 38lbs and 44lbs including the bolt and handle. The standard weight used in competitions though is 44lbs (19.96kg). It is "thrown" and then guided down the ice over 100 feet to the target. The best stones are made of close and evenly grained granite and can cost up to $1,500.
