Kyokotsu was terrorizing the wolf-demon tribes which caused Koga to go and track him down. Koga was able to defeat Kyokotsu by removing his Shikon Jewel Shard.

Unlike all of the other members of the Band of Seven, Kyokotsu had his Shikon Jewel Shard in his head. One of Naraku's Saimyosho grabs the shard before Koga can get a grip on it.

Jakotsu wields a machete with an unpredictable attack. He is the second character who is introduced in the arc.
