Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Yu's first Persona is Izanagi. In the game's lore, Izanagi is said to have led the commonwealth of his time to what?

Answer: Order

Izanagi is depicted as being an omen of order and structure, so to speak. He is weak to Wind and resists Electric.
2. Right away, as soon as we see Yu's room, we find a funny easter egg which showcases a throwback to "Persona 3". Which item in Yu's room is "Persona 3" themed?

Answer: His calendar

The cover art for the very original "Persona 3" is seen on a calendar inside of Yu's bedroom. The art remains in place for the entire game.
3. On his first night, Yu dreams of wandering aimlessly through an area that would later turn into a dungeon the team would have to go through. Whose dungeon is this?

Answer: Izanami

Izanami essentially ends up being the main villain of the entire game. Here, she is unknowingly introduced to the player, though her name is not revealed.
4. Though out the course of the game, Yu will be staying under the roof of Ryotaro Dojima. What is Dojima's relation to Yu?

Answer: Uncle

On a few different occasions, Dojima will remark about telling his sister of something Yu has done, such as convincing her to allow Yu to have a scooter. Of course, his sister is Yu's mother. It is never revealed why Yu is staying with him instead of his mother, who is clearly alive.
5. Midway through the game, the Investigation team gains a new member. This new member is very obviously romantically attracted to Yu. Who is it?

Answer: Rise Kujikawa

Rise is very blunt and unapologetic the numerous times she flirts with Yu. This takes place both in and out of combat, and in and out of the TV and "real" world. It is possible for dialogue from her to reveal that she doesn't care if anyone judges her for her feelings, and that if she really wanted 'alone time' with Yu, she would have no trouble getting it.
6. Towards the end of the game, a climactic decision must be made regarding the potential murder culprit. The team is deliberating over whether or not to throw Namatame into a hospital TV, an act which would certainly result in his death. In order for the team to not eventually commit this act, what must Yu say to everyone?

Answer: They must speak to Namatame first

Up to this point, Namatame had never actually spoken a coherent line. The player must have Yu mention this, and explain to the team that they have to learn his perspective first. If Yu tries to oppose the notion of killing Namatame, but does not mention this, the team will eventually throw him into the TV, effectively dooming the player to receiving the "Bad Ending."
7. Right at the end of the game, when the player must put all the pieces together and have Yu formally accuse someone of being the murderer, the player is given a list of everyone Yu has encountered during their entire playthrough. Who must Yu accuse in order to eventually obtain the "Good" or "True" endings?

Answer: Tohru Adachi

Adachi does indeed turn out to be the culprit. The player has a maximum of three chances to get this correct, or Yu will essentially declare that he doesn't know who the culprit is, resulting in the player receiving the "Bad Ending."
8. When the player correctly guesses the culprit, if Yu has a maxed out social with this character, the player can get the opportunity to refrain from mentioning it, essentially protecting the culprit. What ending will the player receive if they have Yu do this?

Answer: Accomplice

If this happens, a 'secret' cutscene will be unlocked, showing Yu visiting the police station to speak to Adachi. In this cutscene, Adachi can retrieve and bring Yu the one single piece of hard evidence that, if discovered, would prove Adachi was the killer. Adachi will essentially dare Yu to burn it with a lighter. If the player has Yu do this, Adachi finally reveals himself to be the killer, expressing shock that Yu even did this. Adachi seems to haphazardly agree to take Yu on as a partner, though he threatens Yu's life should Yu turn on Adachi.

The game will not-so-subtly inform the player that their 'monstrous' actions have essentially betrayed the Investigation Team. From then on out, the same cutscenes which play during the "Bad Ending" will play, only the game informs the player that they've received the "Accomplice Ending" instead.
9. In order to receive the "True Ending," the player must have Yu locate a very specific item called the Orb of Truth, and then use the orb to interact with a seemingly random NPC. What NPC must the player use the orb on?

Answer: The gas station attendant

As it turns out, this attendant was really Izanami hiding in plain sight for the entirety of the game. The Orb of Truth will eventually reveal this to be the case. Interacting with the attendant while using the orb is the only thing the player must do to put themselves on track for the "True Ending." Failure to do so will relegate them to merely receiving the "Good Ending." This one is easy to miss, as the player must say no when the game asks if they would like to return home after they've spoken to all their friends.

There is no cue or any indication from the game that doing so is a good idea.
10. If the player meets a series of prerequisites, they can unlock a 'secret' boss fight with Margaret. When confronting her, she will demand of Yu and his three chosen teammates that he must fight "as if" what?

Answer: "you intend to kill"

This is a memo on Margaret's end that, despite her very positive relationship with Yu, he must essentially try to kill her, as she will be attempting to do the same with him. Her goal in fighting him was to essentially test the supposed limits of humanity, much like her sister Elizabeth did in "Persona 3". If the player loses this fight, Yu actually does die, though Margaret does not suffer the same fate if the player eventually defeats her.
