Phillippe, born on September 10th, 1974 in New Castle, Delaware, was cast as Barry Cox. Barry was Helen's boyfriend and hoped to play football for the Dallas Cowboys. On July 4th, he, Helen, Ray and Julie partied to celebrate graduating high school as well as Independence Day. Since Barry was drunk, Ray drove his car and he accidentally hit someone on the road. Fearing they would go to prison, Barry decided they would dump the body into the ocean and make a pact never to bring it up again. A year later, Barry worked out at the gym one night and noticed a picture at his locker. The picture contained an image of his car and on the back of it were the words "I know". When Barry noticed someone had stolen his car, he ran out to try and catch the guy but he wound up getting run down. Barry survived and was in the hospital for a short period of time. On the one year anniversary of Ray running down the guy, Barry watched over Helen to make sure she was safe. However, Barry was killed by a man who used a hook to gut his victims. Phillippe starred in the movies "Cruel Intentions" and "Crash". From 1992 to 1993, he portrayed Billy Douglas on the ABC soap opera, "One Life to Live".
