Peter was trying to sell Lou Ferrigno's house, but he seemed to be going at it all wrong, and almost lost out on it to his more aggressive coworker, Tevin Downey, who had been trying to help him and get in on the commission that is possible, but Peter kept shutting him down because he needed the whole commission for his development plan mentioned in the beginning. However, his first plus was meeting his first real male friend, Sydney Fife.

Peter Klaven, played by Paul Rudd, is a guy with girl "friends" who has no real male friends, a fact that becomes all too apparent when he gets engaged. He sets out to find someone to be his best man. Paul Rudd's breakout performance came in the 1995 hit "Clueless". He has a long list of film and TV credits, including a stint on "Friends" as Phoebe's boyfriend, Mike Hannigan. Like many of the others in the film he has a link to "Saturday Night Live," he hosted twice. He had a small part in Jason Segel's hit "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".

His early success came on the the TV show "Freaks and Geeks" in 1999.

Also, this was the first time Rush was featured in a major American motion picture.

Although she is more known for her TV work she does have many film credits including "Coneheads".

Peter often practiced competitive fencing. While he was okay in the beginning, he got more aggressive with it after hanging with Sidney, most likely due to him getting Peter to be more "manly". That, combined with numerous pictures he took of Peter while getting fitted for his tux, helped him make many outrageous billboards for his business. Peter found these initially embarrassing, and along with briefly losing Zooey for asking her a question Sydney asked him, he confronted Sydney and demand he get them taken down, get him his money back, and end their friendship. However, it turns out they did help his business so much he won back the Ferrigno listing from Tevin Downey and got much more business from them. Also, he stood up to Tevin demanding he stay away from the Ferrigno listing.

John Hamburg directed the movie. Larry Levin wrote the original script which Hamburg then rewrote into the current movie. Before this, Hamburg found great success as a co-writer of "Meet The Parents", "Meet the Fockers", and "Zoolander". He also wrote and directed "Along Came Polly".

He asked the question because Sydney asked him and he did not know how to answer it. (He didn't know it was a question that should've been kept between him and Sydney.) This, combined with Sidney's confrontation with Lou Ferrigno and Peter lending him the money, caused her to be hurt and leave him, albeit temporarily.

She is a member of the cast of "Parks and Recreations," which stars "SNL" alum Amy Poehler. She was on one episode of "Freaks and Geeks" with Jason Segel.
