In a fit of rage, he starts screaming for Richard to pull the van over. When the van stops, he runs out into the desert and has a breakdown.

Olive wears an unflattering outfit consisting of a top hat, hot pants, a tie, vest and knee pads. All of the other contestants are in flashy outfits and have wonderful talents that include gymnastics, singing and dancing. Olive shocks the audience during her strip tease, which she performs to the tune of "Super Freak". Although Miss California seems to be enjoying the routine, the other judges and audience members are horrified. Many leave the audience and the judge tries unsuccessfully to have Olive removed from the stage.

When the routine finally ends, Olive is told that she isn't allowed to enter another pageant in the state of California ever again.
