Clive can be heard speaking Klingon several times in the film, Paul even calls him a psychotic nerd for it! Klingon is a fictional language from 'Star Trek', which is spoken by the Klingon warriors. The Klingons and their language were so popular they ended up appearing in all series of 'Star Trek', including the eight feature movies.

Paul can become invisible by holding his breath, heal people's injuries and ailments and also transfer his thoughts to another (telepathy). He displays each power at some point in the film and it's having these powers that puts him in danger on planet Earth. "The Big Guy" wants to cut open Paul's brain and take stem cells in order to learn more about his powers. So it's a good job Graeme, Clive and Ruth are helping him get home!

Fireworks are a type of explosive used for entertainment, most commonly seen on Bonfire Night in the U.K., they come it may shapes and colours. Paul needs another favour from Graeme and Clive, he asks them to buy him a large firework to help guide his spaceship to their pick up location. This proves trickier then they thought as Clive spent all his money on a fake Katana Sword back at the comic shop so they do a runner and steal the firework!

Keith Nash is in the comic book store looking at a comic book which has an alien on the cover that looks just like Paul. He asks Paul if that is him. They get acquainted, and later Keith distracts the FBI when Paul is trying to escape.
