Also in high school he was in a car accident with his wife (girlfriend at the time), and his car flipped over and he walked away without a scratch! He's pretty amazing, he's "Unbreakable"!

It's a pretty amazing power, when David touches another person with his hand, he can see their dark secrets. One of the people he touched, a janitor, showed him trying to get into someone's house by simply knocking and forcing himself in once somebody had answered the door. That night when the intruder went to the house after work, David followed him. David opened the door, and he found that the father (the one who answered the door) of the household was murdered, the children were tied up in a closet, and the wife was tied up in the bedroom. Eventually, there was a struggle between David and the intruder, and David killed him. Thanks to David, the kids were rescued. We knew that the father was dead, and the last time we see the mother, she falls over, as she is still tied up.
