1. A corrupt cop named Norman Stansfield is my character. I deal in drugs and I love Beethoven. One of my heinous crimes ends up causing my death in the end, all in the name of a small girl, Mathilda. In which movie did I play this role?
From Quiz Roles of Gary Oldman
Answer:
Leon & The Professional & Professional
Luc Besson wrote and directed this 1994 action/drama, starring Jean Reno as Leon and Natalie Portman as Mathilda. Originally released throughout Europe as "Leon", the movie was re-released in the USA under the title "The Professional". Norman Stansfield is the corrupt DEA officer who ends up having Mathilda's family killed after Mathilda's father double-crosses Norman in their drug dealings. Mathilda, having been away from home during the executions, ends up in the care of Leon, a professional assassin with a conscience when it comes to women and children. This was Natalie Portman's first starring role in a full-length film, being only 13 years old at the time. Gary Oldman plays the drug-sniffing, Beethoven loving, corrupt cop perfectly in this movie and Danny Aiello is very entertaining playing the character 'Old Tony'.
