Fun Trivia
The Minnesota North Stars joined the National Hockey League in 1967, and made it to the NHL playoffs in their first season. In 1978 they merged with the California Golden Seals. The franchise failed to see a Stanley Cup finals while in Minnesota. In 1993, the franchise moved to Dallas and became the Stars. In 1998-99, the team won their first Stanley Cup finals.
