If they returned to his body in time, no physiological damage occurred. Angel was able to defeat this creepy foe, one of the show's more disturbing baddies, and Melissa became their first paying customer. Tushka Bergen played Melissa. I think there is no coincidence that the doctor was named "Melt"zer, since he kind of melted apart in a sense. Andy Umberger played Ronald. He also played Anya's boss D'Hoffryn on "Buffy".
