Ruby then decided she and Gavin should get married too. At this point in the series, Allie's parents Tom and Brawdie were separated. Eugene and Darcey had not yet become a couple.

Sydney, as spirtual advisor to the salon, would try to connect with people on a deeper level, but was generally regarded as being a bit mad.

Gavin wanted to move out of the city anyway, but Finn's 'generous' pay off meant he could afford to do it. Ruby quickly got bored and wanted to move back to Manchester.

However, she was only back to get revenge on Finn for having left her. She did this by kidnapping baby Ralfie and threatening to jump off a roof with him.
