Goliath had a name before the spell was put on the Gargoyles. Everyone else received names after Xanatos moved the castle and awakened them.

In reality, the Illuminati refers to a sect of "Englightened" thinkers in Bavaria, founded in 1776.

Hudson told Goliath he needed to name a second in command. So Goliath told Hudson he would be second, but Hudson declined the offer, saying Goliath was his second and there was no need to reverse things.

David Xanatos was voiced by Jonathan Frakes, Demona was voiced by Marina Sirtis, and Coldstone was voiced by Michael Dorn. They all appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Macbeth was voiced by John Rhys-Davies of "The Lord of the Rings" and "Indiana Jones" fame.

11. Who was responsible for waking the Gargoyles?

While Excalibur does appear in the series, the Archmage never encounters it. The Phoenix Gate allows the Archmage to travel through time and space, the Grimorum contains all sorts of power and spells, and the Eye of Odin allows the Archmage to control the Grimorum (because he eats it whole!). Removing the Eye later defeats the Archmage.

16. Which Gargoyle figured out Elisa was undercover?

We earlier saw Broadway play Elisa's partner. This time around we got to see Goliath and Broadway pretend to be bad guys with her.
