This caused Bergerac to call off the deal for the island and Binghamton to turn into a scared, embarrassed, and whimpering whiner when he realized that McHale's men had tricked him. The admiral was furious and said he would deal with McHale, as well as telling Binghamton that attacking Bergerac was the last stupid mistake he would ever make under his command.
