Elite Beat Agents Trivia Questions

1. What Japanese game is "Elite Beat Agents" based on?

From Quiz
Agents are GO!

Answer: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!

"Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!" is a Japanese DS game following the same gameplay format of "Elite Beat Agents" (with the hits and spins and whatnot), but it was about a group of male cheerleaders who danced to J-pop hits to help others. Seeing as that wouldn't be popular in America, Nintendo and Inis decided to change the songs and plot of the game.

2. What agent number is Agent Spin?

From Quiz Elite Beat Agents

Answer: BA-5

You find this information to the left of his name when choosing a difficulty. You can also find it on his badge at the start of each level. Agent BA-1 is Chieftain. Agent BA-2 is J. Agent BA-3 is Morris, the left back-up agent. Agent BA-4 is Derek, the right back-up agent.

3. The first chapter of the game is played to what song?

From Quiz "Elite Beat Agents"! Success or Mishap!?

Answer: Walkie Talkie Man

The first chapter, "Trio of Mayhem! Love and Boyfriends!", is played to the song "Walkie Talkie Man" by Steriogram. A babysitter, Jane, invites Don Tanner, star of the football team, over in hopes to propose going steady. Unfortunately, she must babysit a group of disasterous children at the same time, and so she calls upon the Elite Beat Agents to surpass the challenge.

4. Which episode does Sam the dog NOT appear in?

From Quiz Agents are GO!

Answer: Cry Wolf! Meteorology and Parenting!!

In "Family Honor", Sam pees on the refrigerator if you get the bad ending. In "Aspire", Sam pees on Amanda's radio if you get the bad version of the first scenario. In "Rags to Riches", Sam pees on the Colonel.

5. The chapter "Red Carpet Premiere! Smash Hit or Box Office Crash!!" involves the production of what movie?

From Quiz "Elite Beat Agents"! Success or Mishap!?

Answer: "Romancing Meowzilla"

In this chapter, movie director Chris Silverscreen must create a new (and good) movie, or risk being fired! He responsed to this problem by calling upon the Elite Beat Agents. In the end, the movie "Romancing Meowzilla" is made, which is hopefully a success... if you play well enough.

6. How many years later does the mission failed ending of "A Christmas Gift" take place?

From Quiz Agents are GO!

Answer: Ten

The mission failed ending of this episode involves Lucy and her mother giving up about their father and moving away. It takes place when Lucy is 17 and her mother 42.

7. The song is "Highway Star". Who are you helping?

From Quiz Elite Beat Agents

Answer: Sam

Sam is the dog that fell asleep on a pickup truck and wound up 400 miles from home. On his journey home he hitches a ride, plays fetch with expensive china, and saves a damsel in distress. CAMEO: If you succeed in the first part of the song, you'll hitch a ride with the Carrington sisters ("Material Girl"). SECOND CAMEO: After you complete the second part of the song, you'll run into a mother and her baby. You may recognize these two people from "ABC".

8. Tempo-wise, what is the fastest song of the game?

From Quiz "Elite Beat Agents": Agents Are GO!

Answer: "Makes No Difference"

Kind of tricky, huh? It wasn't about how fast you have to be during the song. It was about the song itself, hence "tempo-wise." Get it?

9. How many bonus episodes are unlockable?

From Quiz Agents are GO!

Answer: Three

The three bonus episodes are "Aspire, Dancing to the Limelight!", "Here Kitty Kitty, Baby Hijinks!" and "The Last Laugh, Just a Peanut Matter!". The songs that are unlocked are "Believe" by Cher, "ABC" by the Jackson 5, and "Survivor" by Destiny's Child.

10. The song is "September". You're helping Sofie clear the skies so she can go on a picnic with her son. What's his name?

From Quiz Elite Beat Agents

Answer: David

David is Sofie's youngest son. I say 'youngest' because she has a second son who is a year older than David. His name is Ted, and you meet him briefly in "Highway Star". CAMEO: In the end sequence, you'll see a kid say "Your mom sure is pretty." This kid is actually one of the children you had to babysit in "Walkie Talkie Man". His mom is there with him, too.

11. What is the highest rank that can be achieved on any level?

From Quiz "Elite Beat Agents"! Success or Mishap!?

Answer: S

The highest possible rank that can be achieved on any level is an "S" rank. The "S" rank involves hitting mostly 300s and getting no misses.

12. What would happen if you failed all of the scenes in the bonus stage "Here, Kitty, Kitty! Baby Hijinks!!"?

From Quiz "Elite Beat Agents": Agents Are GO!

Answer: Mom forgets to buy the fish for Max

Oh, no! If you fail all scenes (but complete the episode), the mom comes back from the grocery store empty-handed. What is a cat to do without fish? If you fail the stage itself, a foreman will throw Max off the construction zone, thus failing the mission to save Baby Alden from any danger.

13. What is the highest Agent Rank achievable?

From Quiz Agents are GO!

Answer: Lovin' Machine

Upon obtaining the rank of Lovin' Machine, you are also awarded a special congratulations picture. It depicts all the agents having fun at the beach.

14. The song is "I Was Born to Love You". Who are you helping?

From Quiz Elite Beat Agents

Answer: Leonard

Look carefully at the cut-scenes to see some references to Leonardo da Vinci. For example: After the concert, Signorina (we never get her name) is moving her arms up and down inside a circle, like in Leonardo's 'Vitruvian Man'.

15. In the episode "A Pug's Life! 400 Miles from Home!!", how did Sam (the dog) end up 400 miles from his house?

From Quiz "Elite Beat Agents": Agents Are GO!

Answer: He fell asleep and woke up in a pickup truck

Colonel Bob does, in fact, make $99,999,999,999! In the best ending, he spends the money on a new island resort for his wife, making her very pleased. Fun fact, the other answer choices were other amounts of money possibly made in the level!

27. What is the name of the concert Leonard took the girl to in the episode "Art and Beuaty! Art and Happiness!?"

28. Who is the only character with no arm-waving animation?

From Quiz Agents are GO!

One would be tempted to say Lucy, but remember, she waved in "Without a Fight". Amanda never waves in her own song, nor in "Without a Fight".

29. The song is "The Anthem". You're helping Hulk Bryman defend an amusement park from a fire-breathing golem while helping him recover his baseball skills. What was Hulk's nickname when he played baseball?
