Henry Hatsworth Trivia Questions

1. The first stage of the game is set in a jungle. On completion, you obtain a golden hat of which type?

From Quiz
Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Bowler

Henry is meant to be an English gentleman, and is attired as such with a bowler hat. During the game, you acquire other parts of the golden suit, such as a monocle and bow tie. This early stage is designed to give you practice in using the controls, methods of attack and how to integrate the puzzle game into play.

2. What is the name of Henry's helpful sidekick and shop owner?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Cole

Cole is a young boy who aspires to be a great, pompous adventurer like Henry Hatsworth (and even seems to have the moxie required to partake in adventures) but Henry won't have it. Instead, Cole remains at Henry's mansion and runs a shop allowing Hatsworth to upgrade attacks and slow down the puzzles of the game (or just add items to the puzzles more frequently). Cole will also give a bit of intel about later worlds as you progress through the game and, on occasion, he'll soup up Henry's robot form which can be accessed through enough power-ups.

3. Henry has an assistant in the game. What is his name?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Cole

Cole appears in scenes before and after each different realm. He is responsible for giving Henry guidance in finding the final part of the suit, the 'masterpiece'. He also runs a shop, where you can buy upgrades to weapons and extra hearts to prolong your game. Henry refuses to let him join the adventure, telling Cole he is too young.

4. In order to activate Henry's robot suit, a button must be pressed to activate which event?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Tea Time!

'Tea Time!' is a particularly interesting time in game. In order for this to occur, you need to fill the bar to the right of the puzzle screen up completely until it glows yellow. When you're back on the adventure screen you'll be able to press a large button with a teacup on it to activate 'Tea Time!' During this moment, Henry will sip at some tea before emerging in his robot power suit which gains abilities the further you progress through the game. For instance, the power suit can shoot its fists at enemies, jump higher in the air (due to thrusters), or crush weaker enemies with a single punch. When the right-side bar diminishes the robot will destroy itself until the bar refills. You may also choose to conserve the bar (as it's also used to fire projectiles) by pressing the teacup button a second time.

5. Once you have your hat, you can go to the first proper realm of the game. What is it called?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Mysteria

Mysteria is covered by jungles and swamps. All levels have five different stages, followed by a final boss battle. At the end of this realm, you battle against LadyD, who has come prepared to marry Henry. Wisteria is a flowering vine, listeria are bacteria causing food poisoning and hysteria is the state I was in at various stages of the game.

6. Henry's rival in his quest to find the parts of the suit is named what?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Weasleby

Both are members of the 'Pompous Adventurers' Club'. Henry is numero uno, and Weasleby is intent on ousting him by finding the 'masterpiece' first. He crops up at various stages of the game, and has to be defeated to enable you to progress.

7. Completing level one of the game rewards with the 'Gentleman's Pantaloons'. What do these allow you to do?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Climb walls

The trousers allow you to wall walk, which is essential in the later levels of the game. They enable you to avoid enemies and climb over obstacles. Jumping is available from the beginning, using the 'B' button and you can obtain a pipe which allows you to breathe under water. Repelling attacks is done by fighting or by summoning your robot suit which you can do by use of the puzzle on the lower screen.

8. The boss at the final stage of level 2, Skysland, is called what?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Lance Batson

Lance believes himself to be a 'ladies' man and one of his attacks is to sing at you. This sends musical notes into the puzzle, which have to be matched as quickly as possible. All enemies you kill reappear in the puzzle and will escape if you do not clear them by matching colours in groups of three. Lance reappears later in the game as the proprietor of the shop.

9. Level three is an underwater realm, which is named?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Atlantia

Atlantia leads you ever further underwater, until you reach levels of red hot lava which kill you almost instantly. You must have the pipe from level 2 to survive here as you cannot otherwise breathe underwater. There is a lot of jumping to avoid boulders in this part of the game.

10. To finish level 3, you have to defeat 'The Captain'. Who helps him fight against you?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Nurse

'The Captain' is confined to a wheelchair, which his nurse uses as a weapon either by slamming it hard on the ground or by throwing it (and its occupant) at you. This level is quite demanding to defeat, but you do gain the Gentleman's Shoes at the end, which give you the ability to run away quickly when needed.

11. The final level of the game is set in Tealand. Where do you find yourself at the start of the first part of this level?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Sewers

You start off underground, fighting your way through sewers. The next level takes you up the clocktower, reaching the rooftops for level 3. The final two levels are set in Weasleby's house. The final battle is against a machine and involves an unexpected twist, which I will not reveal in case you have not reached this part yet.

12. During the game, there are hidden secret levels, which allow you to access extra games. How many are there in each realm?

From Quiz Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Answer: Two

These levels can be tricky to find, although I did come across some by accident. They give you the opportunity to gain extra treasure and also additional parts of the suit, so are well worth locating.
