Answer: it is a male of their own species that the queen can mate with

The "sausage fly" is the largest ant in the world. Since nearly the entire colony is female the queen needs a male to mate with to keep the colony going.
2. Most ant species hunt as a group and use team work. Which of these species doesn't?

Answer: bulldog ants

Bulldog ants live together in a colony but work on their own to hunt. In other words what they bring to the colony is theirs to eat.
3. Where do bulldog ants live in their natural habitat?

Answer: Australia

The bulldog ants have lived in Australia for years but now have begun living in cities. Cities provide the perfect shelter and shade. They can also be commonly referred to as a bull ant.
4. What ants are the most venomous?

Answer: harvester

Siafu have no venom. Bulldog ants have venom but it isn't as potent as harvester ant venom. Wasps aren't even ants.
5. What did ants evolve from roughly 100 million years ago?

Answer: wasp-like insects

Everything came from bacteria billions of years ago. Ants, however, evolved from wasp-like animals more recently.

Carpenter ants are pests however they're harmless. They live in deteriorated wood, and are less than an inch long.

The siafu are very deadly however they don't have venom.

In large numbers ants can kill almost anything. Army ants are also highly social and good at working as a team.
