The Plight of the Honeybee Trivia Quiz

This is my first quiz and I decided to make one about honeybees, based on information I'm learning at work. One of my roles at work is beekeeper.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following is NOT a type of bee?

Answer: Harvester

Queens lay the eggs. Drones, always male bees, inseminate the queens so that they can lay eggs. Workers, always female bees, do all the work around the hive from defending from predators to gathering pollen. Harvesters is a fictional possibility I made up.
2. What is the name of the chemical honey bees use to track their way back to the hive?

Answer: Pheromones

Coulombs are a part of physics. Tomes are scholarly books. Aerodromes are to do with flying aircraft. Pheromones are chemicals queen bees secrete that tell their worker bees which hive is home. Every queen gives off a different scent.
3. Where do honey bees store pollen on their bodies for the flight back to the hive?

Answer: Back legs

Their back legs have 'baskets' to hold the pollen they collect. Pollen comes from many different sources such as covers, weeds, and blueberries. Different types of pollen can create distinguishing features in the honey. For example, clover honey is what you see in a grocery store walking down the aisle. The raw, organic blueberry honey I see at work is a deep dark purple-blue color.
4. What causes Colony Collapse Disorder?

Answer: There's not enough evidence to prove a theory

Scientists are still doing research, but as of now nobody knows the cause. It's a major problem because it will wipe out whole hives. Colony collapse disorder occurs when the worker bees in a hive suddenly take off for no apparent reason. They leave and abandon the queen as well as their duties. This makes it easier for predators, such as yellow jackets, to invade and take over.
5. What DON'T honey bees eat?

Answer: Other bees

Honey bees aren't carnivores. Yellow jackets and wasps, on the other hand, are a predator to honey bees.
6. "Killer bees" are what type of bee?

Answer: Africanized honey bees

Africanized honey bees are called "killer bees" because they aren't afraid to defend themselves and they will do whatever it takes to defend themselves. They are also very aggressive.
7. All of the following are products produced by honey bees EXCEPT?

Answer: Pollen cakes

Propolis is 'bee glue' and is used to seal up holes in the hives. It is created by bees from tree resin mixed with saliva and beeswax. Beeswax is used to make candles and other items. Royal jelly is fed to larvae in queen cells to produce replacement queens in case the queen dies. Pollen cakes is something I made up.
8. What type of honey bee doesn't have a stinger?

Answer: Drones

Drones are only used for mating with the queen so they don't have a stinger. Queens have stingers, but never leave the hive, so they never use them. Workers use their stingers to defend against threats. Western honey bees are just one example of a species of honey bee.
9. When does a queen's reign over her prime swarm end?

Answer: 3 years

Though a queen bee can live to five years, as long as she isn't killed by a predator or a beekeeper not watching his or her step, her prime ends at three years and it's usually when a new queen should lead the hive.
10. Which of the following does honey NOT contain?

Answer: Fat

Honey, when stored properly, will keep indefinitely. It's incredibly nutritious and good for you, though you'd have to eat A LOT of it to gain any significant daily nutritional value.
