An average adult eel is about 1 meter long, and baby elvers are only about 6 cm when they reach the coast. The elvers are transparent and quite flat. Eels die soon after they lay their eggs.

The axolotl retains its tadpole-like look all its life, but can still reproduce and lay eggs in the water. They can grow up to 15 cm long, and their diet is small fish and water-dwelling animals.

A dominant stag will stay with his harem and will mate with every single female, although some younger and smaller males will try and sneak in to mate with some females before the dominant male notices them. If the does see or hear a bigger and more impressive stag with a deeper voice, then they will leave the current dominant stag and go and mate with him.
