Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What begins with T, ends with T, and has T in it?

Answer: teapot

Teapot is the expected answer, but "teat" has "tea" in it, so it works :)
2. A word I know, six letters it contains. Subtract just one, and twelve is what remains.

Answer: dozens

This is not to be taken literally. The word "dozens" contains six letters. Subtract one(letter-the "s") and you are left with "dozen" (twelve) remaining.
3. Tom's mom had four kids: Nickel, Dime, Quarter and who is the fourth?

Answer: Tom

Don't be taken in by the three named for coins. The fourth child must be Tom.
4. What is a five letter word which becomes shorter with two letters added onto its end?

Answer: short

While you might want to say "small", this word becomes smaller, not shorter.
5. If you have FIVE and take away two, how are you left with four? List **one** of the things you take away.

Answer: F

If you have FIVE and take away the F and the E, you are left with IV. That's 4 in Roman numerals.

Answer: bookkeeper
