John Tenta (Earthquake) started in the mid 1980s as a sumo wrestler. Later he moved to the World Wrestling Federation where he became Hulk Hogan's arch-rival. He died of bladder cancer in 2006, aged 42.

Richard Melville Hall (Moby) is one of electronic music's key figures since the early 1990s. He is a distant offspring of Herman Melville, hence the middle name. The stage name is of course an association to Melville's great book "Moby Dick".
3. Maria da Graça Meneghel

Maria da Graça Meneghel (Xuxa) rose to fame in Brazil but has become a worldwide children's entertainment star, and a multi-millionairess at that. The stage name was a nickname given to her by her elder brother. She once dated football's great Pelé (hmm, Edson Arantes do Nascimento).
