Before debuting on their own show in the U.S. on CBS in December 1952, Abbott and Costello were the the guest hosts of NBC's "Colgate Comedy Hour" in 1951 and went on to appear on the show many times boosting their ratings.

Answer: The 3 Stooges

Joe Besser's character 'Stinky', an adult, dressed in a early 20th century children's outfit screaming to Costello while pinching him, "I'll haaaaarrrrmmm you!" was one of the touches that made "The Abbott and Costello Show" so surreal. Besser joined The 3 Stooges after Shemp Howard died in 1955. Joe made 16 films with the Stooges.
