Kurt Cobain, lead singer and guitarist of Nirvana killed himself on April 5, 1994. He was born in February of 1967. He was very much into punk-rock as a child and teen. His first guitar was a right-handed one, though he himself was left-handed. His band, Nirvana became very popular in late 1991, and early 1992 with their album, "Nevermind". "After Nevermind" was released one more album came out entitled, "In Utero".

In 2011/2012 a new Doors' song was released to the public. That was the first time it has been heard and is the last known recording by Jim Morrison with The Doors.

Brian Jones died on July 3, 1969 exactly one year to the day before fellow rock musician, Jim Morrison. Brian helped found The Rolling Stones, and had an important role until Mick Jagger and Keith Richards took over that position. He greatly impacted the effect The Rolling Stones had on the world.

The name was derived from a popular Beatles' tune.
