6. This veteran rocker - and survivor - was born Richard Starkey.

Answer: Ringo Starr

You can't say "Ringo Starr" wasn't an improvement! Pete Best was the original Beatles drummer, but the lads liked Starkey's work a lot better, so they sacked poor Pete, who subsequently released an album of his own, cleverly titled "Best of the Beatles." The cover art was a photo of the early Beatles with Pete's face circled. Beatle fans who bought the album were mighty disappointed when they got home and played it, hearing mostly mediocre drumming and nary a note from John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

Answer: Stewart Granger

You're probably on Social Security if you remember seeing Granger in "King Solomon's Mines."

Answer: Sting

Sting of course made a name for himself as lead singer of "The Police."

10. Leslie Lynch King. Hmmm, seems I've heard that somewhere. Wasn't he ___?

Answer: Gerald Ford

The former President's mother married a man named Leslie Lynch King. They named their son Leslie, Jr., but they soon got divorced, and she married Gerald Ford; their son was re-named Gerald Ford, Jr.
