2. Marilyn Monroe, Catherine Deneuve and Nicole Kidman were all spokesmodels for which perfume?

Answer: Chanel No. 5

Chanel No. 5 was developed by perfumer Ernest Beaux. Coco Chanel was originally only going to use the scent as a Christmas present to her best customers in 1921. The customers that were given the scent liked it so much that they wanted a further supply, so the perfume went on sale in 1922.

4. In which computer game did you have to save a group of creatures from killing themselves?

Answer: Lemmings

"Lemmings" first appeared in 1991. On each level 100 lemmings would drop into the screen and start walking. If they walked off the edge of something or into some crazy killing machine they would obviously die. You had certain options where you could give a lemming a parachute, dig down, build ladders, block a path etc. If blocked in any way they would turn around and walk in the opposite direction.

It was great fun and if you saved enough of them another level would be available.

5. Video game character Yoshi the Dinosaur comes from which of these?

Answer: An egg

Yoshi eggs are covered in polka dots and the usual Yoshi is normally green; the colour of the dots on the outside of the shell signifies the colour on the inside. In many cases, Yoshi's egg is simply a symbol of the character and he'll break out quite easily.

In other games, like "Super Smash Bros.", for instance, the egg becomes a handy weapon for use in battle. Yoshi debuted in "Super Mario World" for the Super Nintendo. He has since become one of gaming's most famous faces.

6. Where will you have to travel to visit the original Legoland Theme Park?

Answer: Billund, Denmark

Legoland Billund Resort was built near the original Lego factory, and opened in 1968. Since then, more Legoland parks have opened around the world. These family parks have the youngsters firmly in the forefront of their plans, with most rides on the gentler side (a relief for those of us parents who quake at the prospect of some of the rides!), and the widespread use of Lego bricks around the site.

7. You see someone type "Does anyone have any diamonds? I only need one more for a pickaxe" into chat. Which computer game are you most likely playing?

Answer: "Minecraft"

In "Minecraft", you can play single player or multiplayer. In "Minecraft", diamond pickaxes require three diamonds, so if someone has only two, and he or she is playing multiplayer, he or she might ask if another player has one. Players can give items to other players, but they have to be next to each other. Diamonds are valuable and hard to find, so other players might not be willing to give up one of their diamonds.

8. Which syndicated American comic strip, first published nationally in 1994, features a politically-conservative TV news reporter named (sort of) after the 13th President of the United States?

Answer: Mallard Fillmore

Bruce Tinsley created "Mallard Fillmore" which has been syndicated by King Features Syndicate since 1994. Mallard is a politically-conservative reporter for Washington, DC, TV station WFDR. Tinsley is himself politically conservative and has attracted almost-constant criticism from the Left.

For example, Mallard was hired by his TV station to fulfill their quota for hiring "Amphibious Americans", an obvious poke at hiring quotas favoured by the Left. Several characters are particularly annoying to Liberal critics: Chet the Botox-injecting metrosexual, Chantel the African-American reporter, and Congressman Pinkford Veneer, a Democratic Congressman who opposes school vouchers but sends his kids to private school.
