Answer: Beany and Cecil

Their names were given as 'B'Nee' and 'C'cll' during the fight for Phoenix's life on the moon at the end of the Dark Phoenix saga.

2. When Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants attacked the US Senate in 'Days of Future Past', which Doonesbury characters were outside when Storm blasted all the combatants out of the building?

Answer: Rick and Joanie

It's true! In the strip, Rick and Joanie were working in Washington at the time. Rick worked for the Washington Post, and was scrambling to get the story.

3. When the 'new' X-Men first faced the Sentinels (Stephen Lang's versions), which original creators of the series made a cameo appearance?

Answer: Stan Lee and Jack Kirby

Really! Scoot and Jean are kissing right before the Sentinels attack, and Kirby and Stan are complaining that they never did anything like that when THEY had the book.

At Cassidy Keep, when the X-Men fight Black Tom and Juggernaut. Black Tom knocks Nightcrawler out, and the Little People see him half in and half out of shadows. They find out before Nightcrawler does.
