Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Cyclone", "Twister", "Hurricane", "Typhoon", "Tornado" (and several titles including these words) are all films involving which weather-related phenomenon?

Answer: Wind

According to Wikipedia, there is a long history of films based around storms and wind, with "The Hurricane" being the first of this group to be released (1937).

Cyclones, twisters, hurricanes, typhoons and tornadoes are all types of storms involving wind. Hurricane, typhoon and cyclones are all tropical storms and its name depends on the location and strength of the storm. These storms generally form over tropical seas and warmer waters, whereas tornados tend to form over land. This gives a great variety of options when it comes to storm and wind disaster movies.

Answer: White Squall

Learning their place in the first part of the film, the characters are forced to use their skills when the Albatross (the ship they are sailing) runs into a white squall, a sudden violent windstorm over water.
