The women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match originally took place at the "Money in the Bank" Pay Per View with Carmella winning but due to the controversial ending when James Ellsworth climbed the ladder and got the briefcase for Carmella "Smackdown Live" general manager Daniel Bryan stripped Carmella of the briefcase and announced that the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match would be redone on the June 27th edition of "Smackdown Live".
