Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which two wrestlers did the WWE Women's Champion, Victoria, have a Triple Threat Hardcore Rules Match against?

Answer: Trish Stratus and Jacqueline

The WWE Women's Champion, Victoria, who was accompanied by Steven Richards, faced off against Trish Stratus and Jacqueline in a Triple Threat Hardcore Rules Match for the WWE Women's Championship. Three corners of the ring had trash cans, with objects that could be used inside, on the outside of the ringposts. Victoria, Jackie and Trish each ran for some weapons, and began to go at it.

The trio fought viciously, until it ended with Victoria pinning Trish. After the match, Steven Richards began to manhandle Trish, and he set her up to be attacked by Victoria.

But The Hurricane had other ideas. He ran down to the ring and came to Trish's rescue.
2. Which tag team did Eric Bischoff suspend without pay?

Answer: The Dudley Boyz

As Eric Bischoff and Sean Morely were talking backstage and waiting for Vince McMahon to arrive at the arena, the Dudley Boyz approached them. They told Eric that they had just about enough of him and his games. They said they didn't like the fact that he set their little brother, Spike, up to be demolished by Batista two weeks previous, and Bubba didn't like the fact that Eric put his hands on D-Von the week before. Bubba also said he didn't appreciate the fact that Eric had Storm and Regal win the WWE Tag Team Championship. Eric was visibly scared of the imposing figure of Bubba, but then Sean Morely told Bubba and D-Von that to get to Eric, he'd have to go through him. Bubba and D-Von immediately began assaulting the Chief of Staff.

Morely was basically laid out on the floor and was being pounced on.

As this was going on, Eric began yelling for security, and when the guards showed up they pulled Bubba and D-Von off of Morely. As the Dudleys were being restrained, Eric yelled that they were fired.

Then Bubba said "Fine! I bet Stephanie would appreciate a great tag team!" then Eric said "No! I'm not that stupid...you're suspended indefinitely without pay!"
3. Which two wrestlers did Chris Nowinski and D'Lo Brown have a match against?

Answer: Test and Maven

Test and Maven, who were accompanied by Stacy Kiebler, faced off against Chris Nowinski and D'Lo Brown. This match came about because D'Lo and Test were feuding and Maven and Nowinski were feuding. Then when Nowinski and D'Lo teamed up the week before, they demolished Test and went after Stacy.

However, this match would have a different outcome. After Stacy distracted D'Lo near the end of the match, Test was able to hit D'Lo with the "Big Boot," and pin him for the win.
4. Who approached Eric Bischoff and begged to be the first entry in the 2003 "Royal Rumble"?

Answer: Chris Jericho

While Eric Bischoff was awaiting the arrival of Vince McMahon, he was approached by Chris Jericho, who pleaded with him to be the number one entry in the 2003 "Royal Rumble." However, Eric said that he couldn't have a "Raw" superstar in the number one slot because he wanted someone from "Raw" to win the "Royal Rumble." Jericho began pleading even harder, which made Bischoff angry. Bischoff then said that if Jericho won the "Over The Top Rope Challenge," he would think about letting Jericho enter the "Royal Rumble" in the number one slot.

This obviously wasn't what Jericho wanted to hear, because he pouted and scowled as he left Bischoff.
5. When the first black stretch limousine arrived, who stepped out of it?

Answer: "Mean" Gene Okerlund

Eric was delighted, and a little apprehensive, when a black stretch limousine arrived in the carport. But, to Eric's shock, it wasn't Vince McMahon, it was former WWF and WCW interviewer, "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Bischoff demanded to know why Okerlund was there, and Okerlund said for the live 10th anniversary of "Raw." Eric said that was for the following night and told Okerlund to get the hell out of there. Okerlund said "You know, if you were any good we would be having the 10th anniversary of 'Nitro.'" And then Okerlund left, much to Bischoff's consternation.
6. Who did Jerry "The King" Lawler have a match against?

Answer: William Regal

Jerry "The King" Lawler faced off against William Regal, who was accompanied by Lance Storm. Lawler was already in the ring when Regal and Storm approached. The referee, actually three referees, physically searched Regal for brass knuckles, and found a pair in his tights.

Then, because Storm accompanied him to the ring, the referees searched him, too. They found another pair on Storm, hidden in one of his elbow pads. However, the referees didn't search Lawler, who took a steel chain that he had hidden in his boot and wrapped it around his right hand.

When the referee wasn't looking, he punched Regal in the jaw, knocking him flat. Lawler covered him for the pin, but as the referee was counting he noticed the steel chain wrapped around Lawler's hand and disqualified him. Regal officially won the match, but Lawler grabbed the microphone and announced that he won.
7. After Vince McMahon arrived at the arena, he walked to the ring to make a very special announcement. However, before he could begin his special announcement, he was interrupted. Who was he interrupted by?

Answer: Dudley Boyz

At long last, Vince finally arrived at the arena, and was met by a sniveling Bischoff. Vince swaggered to the ring to make a very special announcement. He was just about to begin when the Dudley Boyz came to the ring, and told Vince that they were suspended that night witout pay.

They told Vince that "Raw" has a very big problem, and that the problem is Bischoff. Vince took this into consideration and lifted the Dudleys' suspension, and he made a match for the 2003 "Royal Rumble" with the Dudleys facing off against Lance Storm and William Regal for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

He said that there was one thing he wanted to hear in that match, and that was "D-Von! Get the tables!"
8. After the first interruption, Vince again tried to make his special announcement. But, as before, he was prevented from doing so because he was interrupted again. Who was he interrupted by?

Answer: Chris Jericho

Just as Vince tried a second time to make his special announcement, he was interrupted by Chris Jericho. Jericho walked to the ring and approached the Chairman of the WWE, and asked him if he could be entered in the number one spot at the 2003 "Royal Rumble." Jericho went on to say that he brought his case before Bischoff, who told him he'd think about it if Jericho won the "Over The Top Rope Challenge" that night, but Jericho said that wasn't good enough, that he needed to know that night. Vince told him to shut up, and said that whoever won the "Over The Tope Rope Challenge" could decide which spot they wanted to be entered. Jericho was so happy and said that if he won he'd enter himself in the number one spot. Vince told him to hold on and not to go too fast. Vince said that whoever won the "Challenge" that night could pick any number in which to enter the "Royal Rumble," except the number one spot, because that spot was already taken by Shawn Michaels.

When Jericho became livid, he was dismissed by Vince.
9. After the second interruption, Vince again tried to make his special announcement. But, as before, he was prevented from doing so because he was interrupted again. Who was he interrupted by?

Answer: Eric Bischoff

Just as Vince tried for a third time to make his special announcement, he was interrupted by Eric Bischoff. Bischoff said that he understood that Vince was "the" boss, but that he couldn't walk into the arena and undermine what he'd done. Vince said that he could do what he wanted to because he was the Chairman.

Then Vince said he was going to give Bischoff a public evaluation, and asked the audience if Bischoff was doing a good job. The boos of the audience told Vince what they thought, but Vince disagreed.

He said that Eric was doing a good job, but he didn't hire Eric to do a "good" job. Vince said he hired Eric to do a "great" job, something that Eric had failed to do. Vince said that he brought Eric to "Raw" to reinvent the show, to reach down into the depth of "Raw" and make it stand out, to grab "Raw" by its throat, choking it, and make it spit up a huge mass of phlegm that would cover the millions of fans. Vince said that Eric had not done this.

He then said that Eric had thirty days, in which to make "Raw" the greatest show ever created, and that if he failed to do so, Eric and Vince would once again meet in the ring at the end of the thirty days, and in another public evaluation Eric would hear Vince say "You're fired!" Eric looked dismayed at that thought.

After the commercial break, Vince was seen walking to his limousine, with Eric tailing behind him like a lost little puppy. Eric was pleading with Vince as he approached the limousine, and said that he needed longer than thirty days to make "Raw" great. Eric then said that there was no one in the whole world that was better than him, and demanded to know who Vince could possibly get to replace him. With that, Vince opened the door of the limousine and Shane McMahon came out, which meant that if Eric doesn't make "Raw" superb in thirty days, Shane would take over as the general manager.
10. Who did Jeff Hardy have a match against?

Answer: Raven

Jeff Hardy faced off against Raven. The winner of this match would be entered in the 2003 "Royal Rumble" as the last entry. Jeff won the match when he hit the "Swanton Bomb," and pinned Raven for the win.
11. Who did Lance Storm have a match against?

Answer: Booker T

Booker T, accompanied by Goldust, faced off against Lance Storm, who was accompanied by William Regal. Regal and Storm were searched once again, due to their notoriety with concealing brass knuckles. The match began at a good pace, but during the match the referee was knocked down, which allowed Regal, who was standing outside of the ring, to hit Booker T in the back with brass knuckles.

The Dudleys immediately ran into the ring, causing the referee to declare a no contest, meaning no one won the match.
12. Who did The Hurricane have a match against?

Answer: Steven Richards

The Hurricane, who was accompanied to the ring by Trish Stratus, faced off against Steven Richards, who was accompanied by Victoria. As the two women got involved in their own dispute outside the ring, the two men fought in the ring. The Hurricane won when he hit the "Chokeslam" on Richards and pinned him for the win.
13. What kind of match were Scott Steiner and Triple H supposed to have?

Answer: Bench Pressing Match

Scott Steiner and Triple H were supposed to have a Bench Pressing Match, but when Triple H came to the ring dressed in a suit, everyone knew the match would never take place. Triple H basically told Steiner that for the past several weeks he'd been playing him for a fool. Hunter said that there was only one thing that meant everything to him and that was the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

He said that the title said that he was the best and that he was that damn good. Hunter then asked Steiner what makes him think he's good enough to wrestle the champion. Steiner answered that question by walking to the ring and manhandling the champion. Triple H was stripped down to his skivvies and socks, and was tossed around like a Raggedy Andy doll.
14. The main event of the night was an Over The Top Rope Challenge Match, which involved Kane, Batista, Rob Van Dam, and Chris Jericho. Out of these four individuals, who won?

Answer: Chris Jericho

The main event was an Over The Top Rope Challenge Match, with the winner picking which number, except number one, to be entered in for the 2003 "Royal Rumble." Unfortunately, Kane was the first to be put over the top. This came at the hands of Batista.

However, Batista was next to be put over the top. This came at the hands of Jericho and Van Dam. The match was down to just Jericho and Van Dam, with Jericho winning the match. After the match, he announced that since the number one spot was taken by Shawn Michaels, that he would enter in the "Royal Rumble" as the second entry.
15. After the Over The Top Rope Challenge Match, which wrestler came out to the ring?

Answer: Shawn Michaels

After Jericho won the Over The Top Rope Challenge Match, and after he made his announcement about entering in second at the "Royal Rumble," Shawn Michaels came to the ring and made it a point in tossing Jericho over the top rope.
