Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What does Artemis name his amazing device that he shows Jon Spiro?

Answer: C Cube

It was a bit obvious, but appropriate. He named it this obviously because it is the Cube that sees everything. It could pick up satellites, play tapes, and disable security. Jon Spiro took it from him in London.
2. Who shot Butler?

Answer: Arno Blunt

Arno was aiming for Artemis. Butler jumped in the way. Butler did get one shot off though before he went down for good. Of course, that's just Butler's style. It didn't kill Arno just clipped his temple.
3. Where are the vans of the Cryogenics lab made in?

Answer: Munich

They could drive over a land mine and come out smiling. Custom made in Munich, Germany. For once Artemis didn't want information. "Very interesting, Docter, but can they go any faster...?" The doctor didn't think there was any hope for Butler. In her words, "Two hours. No one's ever been revived after two hours."
4. How is the cube mainly encrypted?

Answer: With an eternity code

The code was very hard to break. It took eternity, in theory. With the equipment Spiro had he could, eventually, do it. If Spiro found out about the LEP, Artemis and Holly knew Spiro would not let them live in peace.
5. Where had the doors in Spiro's office been taken from?

Answer: Titanic

They were taken from the ballroom actually. A perfect example of power gone mad. I wonder how he got down there to get them? While we're at it, how did he get them back to Chicago? Without the police seeing, that would be hard!
6. What kind of jet does Artemis have?

Answer: Lear

Spiro knows a lot about Artemis. We don't know exactly how he knows that Artemis has a jet but he does. Artemis has only heard of Spiro, but does not have that much info on him.
7. What is the problem with the Iris Cam?

Answer: It is hazel and Artemis's eyes are blue

They had a lot of cool spy gear on that thing. James Bond watch out! Mulch liked them too during his career in the second book.
8. How did Pex and Chips decide to "kill" Mulch?

Answer: Burying him alive

Mulch kind of planted the idea in their heads, and they didn't actually kill him. Mulch loved every minute of it, of course. He almost chocked on the first shovelfull of dirt. That was my favorite part in the book! Pex and Chips were idiots.
9. What has Artemis's father decided?

Answer: That the Fowls are going straight

He has decided that he needs to be a better father for Artemis. Artemis isn't too happy though. What his father said made him think, though. When he took the money it almost made him reconsider what he was doing.
10. Trouble Kelp's little brother, Grub, complains about nearly every thing.

Answer: True

Grub complains about many things, some that are very foolish indeed. Like getting a hang nail over very smooth handcuffs. Holly gat tired of working with him. She was happy when she got to go to check out the power surge.
