While Ben was cleaning his garage in the episode "The Widening Gyre" he came across his box of Sumo Slammer's collectible cards. He claimed that this brought back happy memories and mentioned that it took him almost 6 months to collect them.

In the episode "Fused", Ben was shown to be suffering from nyctophobia, "fear of the dark", and astraphobia, "fear of lightning". He is afraid of his dark room and sky, and also feels severely uneasy when lightning flashes across the sky.

An older version of Gwen brought the younger version of Ben and Gwen to a possible future in the episode "Ben 10000" to make the older Ben realize that family and friends come first, not saving the world.
